Hotel Best Roquetas

Just arrived back from a week at Best Roquetas. Overall, very happy with our stay. There were 6 of us in total. 4 adults and two children, all inclusive (from the UK - had to add this but it will become clear why further down) Checking in was nice and easy, and the rooms easy to find. However our door cards occasionally decided to stop working but a quick run down to reception quickly resolved that. The rooms were very clean, very spacious. The shower was extremely powerful and wasn't the best for sunburnt backs but can easily be turned down to a lower pressure 😅 The pool area was terrific! The kids absolutely loved the slides (along with the big kids). Always a friendly lifeguard on hand keeping a thorough lookout. So now we get to the not so good parts ... The restaurant food. Absolutely catered only for the Spanish.. I'm not fussy but the kids are. It's quite hard to explain, but there were maybe 2 or 3 main choices and the rest were just side dishes. There was plenty to choose from but half the time I didn't have a clue what I was eating. Some meals were labeled but one night I played up what I thought was a beef stew and it ended up being some sort of squid dish. Don't get me wrong, a lot of the dishes were lovely but not for the fussy eaters. However, the all inclusive bar by the pool that was constantly stocked with burgers and hotdogs was perfect for the kids! Self service beer to so I wasn't complaining. We found ourselves eating out 3 of the 7 nights simply because we fancied something different. The resort itself is very quiet with only one spar about 5 mins away and a handful of bars in close proximity. We ended up going to Lilly's bar across the road most evenings even though we were all inclusive. The evening entertainment seemed to just all be in Spanish which was a shame. Overall a brilliant holiday but unfortunately I don't think we would be returning.

We have to tell you the truth, all I want to say is that Nacho and Laura they’re incredible with the kids and the adults, the different games that they bring out and the night shows are just amazing they work really hard for all of us to enjoy our holidays,

Lovely hotel right on the beach food amazing all inclusive drinks are all real brands etc great walks lots of little bar's etc peacefull very Spanish plenty of sun loungers a must visit the Thursday Market in roquetas we used the bus right outside the hotel just under 2 euros each and a pleasant trip free safe in room and fridge with complimentary drinks Can't wait to return staff really friendly

This hotel is terrible for entainment . Arrived today with family. No right to do anything. No swimming ring. Or you swim in the cold water or you don’t go in the swimming pool. I’m not here to do the olympics games but to enjoy good time with family. There is nearly nobody in the swimming pool I don’t understand what is the problem with a swimming ring… the children screaming in the tube bother more than me calmly in my small swimming ring. They also forbid the swimming ring for my son who is 10 years old and donnt touch the floor in the swimming pool. If you like entertainment don’t go in this hotel. They are here to forbid you what is relaxing and fun. If you like eating plenty of food and drinking all day maybe you can try… For me last time… First day arrive I don’t know what I’ll do all day… what a disappointment. I have been in many club where inflatables were at disposal of customers. That’s holidays… also the bubble baths are forbidden to children when they are not hot at all (cold!) so don’t understand the reason either… To summarize all that is pleasant and fun is forbidden. Make your choice

Great food ,love the palm trees in the sunded area, and indoor pool,the rooms cleaned every day ,great holiday. Will go again maybe next year. Lovely hotel and very friendly staff loads to choose from in the dining room, see you all next year.

Lovely hotel, more Spanish based and also the area but this is nice. Nice apartment, food ok, although repetitive as normal all-inclusive. Named drinks on all-inclusive shichbis great. Entertainment is Spanish and not once spoke any English which ok but at the same time you couldn't understand a word. As the Season gets going perhaps this needs to be looked at as British people do go into the hotel. Promenade right outside and Lovely walks

Very clean hotel, the food is good and there is a large amount to choose from. The staff are helpful. The hotel itself is near bars and restaurants and there is entertainment for small children. The pool is a big size and there are plenty of free sunbeds available all day. Will definately go back to this hotel again next year.

The hotel is in a prime location right on the beach with bars and restaurants just a few steps from the front door. The hotel staff are very friendly and always courteous, they work very hard to keep the public area's clean and tidy at all times. There are a huge amount of sunbeds available with indoor and outdoor pools. We stayed on an all inclusive basis but paid extra for an apartment room for extra space and convenience only to discover facilities included just basic cutlery and crockery a saucepan and frying pan and no other cooking utensils, we even had to ask for a kettle, beds were very comfortable, electrical sockets are few and in strange positions (not near a mirror) and there is no full length mirror. Entertainment is terrible and very noisy. The dining experience is the worst part of all, the dining room seats approx 700 people so most things on the buffet need replenishing regularly but this is not done, the food on offer is often cold even when bought straight from the kitchen, you can tell that the food used is of a very low quality and worst of all cooked badly, the layout of the buffet means that whatever you choose to eat you will have quite a journey from your table to buffet and returning to your table, for example if you want a cup of tea with your breakfast the tea is at one end of the room but the milk is at the other. Due to the food experience we will not be returning to this hotel but would consider returning to the Roquetas area.

Just home after a weeks stay nice clean hotel plenty of sunbeds nice small indoor pool rooms ok no kettle provided and no English channels on tv nice big balcony unfortunately we had a side view room002 beds ok food was plentiful loads of choices bacon not all that nice breakfast time went all inclusive service good in the bar entertainment was all in Spanish (I know we were in Spain ) would have expected some English acts . Nice English bar across the road Lilly’s bar resort on the whole very quite but enjoyed our stay
