I’m not sure where to begin…the fire alarm went off two mornings in a row, false alarm both times. There was not hot water in the sink or shower. The floor was dirty. We stayed 3 nights and no one cleaned our room or emptied our trash. The doors on the side and back of the building were only locked from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am. The towels all had stains on them. When we asked for clean towels, we were told they were clean, just stained. The fitted sheet on the bed was stretched out and wouldn’t stay on the bed.

Windows looks as though they haven’t been cleaned in a while
All light fixtures had a layer of dust on all of them
Spider feces on ceiling
Sheetrock missing in bathroom
Floor was dirty
Pool and hot tub area had stained mold on edges and filter
hasn’t been cleaned recently
Fire alarm went off both mornings after 8 for several minutes as if to wake us up and get out
Staff was friendly
Breakfast was good and fresh along with fruit

It was an okay stay. Most of the tv channela didnt come in and the shower was either. Warm or ice cold and then it would change to scalding suddenly then straight to ice cold. The pool was okay but looked a little cloudy and the hot tub could of been hotter. Overall it was a place to aleep which is all i needed so it was fine.

The place was very noisey and poorly run, very dirty and the breakfast bar was dirty and badly stocked and very limited selection. Had 2 day stay in mind,but left after one day.They need some correct supervision and inspection.

The room was very clean. The staff was great! Especially Rebecca in the breakfast area!" She was super friendly and accommodating. Hot breakfast scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, sausage gravey, waffles, cereal, yogurt.
On the negative side, the walls are THIN! You can hear every noise. We were in 305 by the laundry room. We could hear people and the dryer. We heard the neighbors shower at 5:30am and heard anyone in the halls talking. The air conditioner is an older unit and although cooling, came on and off all night. I really wanted to like the place as the pricev was great, staff was super and the room was clean. But honestly didn't get a good night's sleep.

The front desk was very courteous and nice. Room was clean & neat. Bed was comfortable to sleep in, i would recommend this Super 8 on US 23 in Portsmouth OH

The location of the Super 8 was convenient and the price was reasonable.
The property was clean as well as the rooms.
My only complaint is one of the towels in my room was dirty, stained, Yuck! It really grossed me out.

We went on Friday September 29,2023 our room had mold in the tub the “hot tub”was like a warm bath. The swimming pool was cold and had minor girls hanging all over older men. We said something on Saturday September 30thto the front desk girl Brianna she was really rude. We asked for a refund she was beating on the keys of the computer and told me numerous times to shush. There was other people complaining about their rooms as well. We told her at 8 am Saturday about the air conditioner she said well I cleaned that room yesterday and it was ice cold in there but I’ll call maintenance. The air conditioner shut off constantly. The “hot tub” has the trimming off of it on the inside. Just a horrible place to stay.
