There are shops and restaurants, also got spring park at walking distance. Good motel. Compact studio is compact size as same as name.

The location of this Bella Vista is on a junction of the main road but the noise of the traffic was not a problem. Plenty of free parking so this wasn’t an issue. The couple who run it are very cheerful and extremely helpful of our time driving around New Zealand. We were led to believe that this was a Bed and Breakfast motel but found out in the morning that it wasn’t. This was not a problem as there is a Convenience Store directly across from the Motel where you can purchase breakfast items or a Supermarket is located in town. The room was very clean and comfortable with everything you needed. It’s an absolute ideal stopping place for the thermal springs , Gondolas and restaurants nearby. I would certainly recommend this place and if I get a chance to stay in New Zealand again I would certainly return there only this time a few days longer.

This is a great little hotel. Friendly owner, sparkling clean accommodations, extremely quiet, and located just outside of town and within walking distance of everything. It is far from fancy, but if you are looking for something clean, quiet, and welcoming -- this is the place to go!

Clean. Supplied with a small bottle of fresh milk. Supplied with a packet of two biscuits along with tea, coffee and chocolate sachets. Good shower with strong water pressure. Comfortable bed although a little too soft for my liking. Compact room. Only one bedside table and a single seat lounge chair. No kitchen sink. Located close to a geo-thermal park so there was a slight smell of sulphur in the room. Overpriced for the compact room size, lack of kitchen sink and sulphur odour.

Everything worked and we enjoyed our stay. The room was super clean, updated, and very functional (hot water kettle, toaster, microwave). Would stay with Bella Vista again.

The property owner Pat is your typical kiwi good fella. Friendly, kind and good sense of humor. Made me feel super at home staying here. A ! Would recommend this place if you're visiting Rotorua!

Great motel, very close (short driving distance) to everything. Our host - Pat - and his wife were absolutely sensational and we felt welcomed and almost part of the family. Our room had everything we needed, but not a lot of room for big suitcases, however that didn't phase us as all. The bathroom was new and spotless. Includes off street parking and guest laundry.
