Everything is in the hotel. The sauna was also clean and it was nice to be able to cook. It was a pity that the reception was 4 minutes away by car. So it would be inconvenient if you don't have a car.

It was a great experience. The snowmobile booked by the hotel was a highlight. My wife liked the sauna in the room. There were almost no people on the day we stayed, so it was quiet.

The scenery is good, the service is almost non-existent, the breakfast has very few items, and the taste is average. I have stayed in many hotels in Finland and this one has the worst breakfast. However, it is best to drive here, otherwise it will be too inconvenient and you need to bring a lot of delicious food. Because there is nothing to eat here, but you can cook and go on vacation, but there is nothing fun. The projects here are more expensive than Santa Claus Village.

The first row of igloos by the lake, the sky is full of stars at night, it is very beautiful, the Big Dipper and the Ursa Major constellation are very clear, but unfortunately the clouds are a bit thick and we cannot see the aurora. The white patches of snow on the lake are great during the day. The sunrise in the Arctic Circle in winter is slanting up and setting, which is very interesting. The sauna in the room is small but effective, and the breakfast is also very good. It was very convenient for us to drive here. We also went to a nearby supermarket to buy late-night snacks and cook them ourselves. The kitchen supplies in the room were full.

The wooden house hotel in the zoo is operated by the same hotel, about five kilometers apart. It was quite good. I stayed for two nights because there was really no room hahaha.

Be sure to book your vehicle in advance Hotel pick up and drop off 85 euros round trip More than 80 kilometers from the city center I took a taxi for 170-200 euros one way, which is very expensive! Be sure to book the hotel in advance Generally speaking, it is a bit cold at night, there is a sauna room, and the breakfast is okay The environment is okay

The hotel is about an hour's drive from Rovaniemi. You can write to the hotel to arrange Taxi. You can make an appointment with the hotel front desk to shuttle to the Zoo, and the round trip is free. A well-equipped glass house with its own sauna. The glass can be heated, and you can see the sky very clearly while lying in bed, and you can really experience watching the aurora in the glass house The only disadvantage is that you need to drag your luggage to the glass house by yourself. It would be better if you can have someone or a car to check your luggage

Restaurant: The breakfast is good, with a variety of varieties, but the European gourmet bread is relatively poor here, and there are not many options for dinner. When I went, there were only three types of fish, chicken, and vegetarian, so I didn't eat it. Facilities: Disappointing, the wifi is very poor, often can't receive it, it can be used as no wifi. It's super inconvenient, even the Greater China Go bought in Hong Kong can't receive the Internet, it should be a problem with the location. I booked a lakeside room type, and the private sauna room is so small, I think it is only enough for 1 person, and there is not enough space for 2 people, it is really shocking! Totally unexpected for such a facility for such a price. The only redeeming feature of the hotel is its beautiful scenery, but the price/performance ratio is extremely low.

Igloos have a beautiful view and are very clean and comfortable. The Ranua resort staff were very welcoming and helpful however the staff at the Igloos during our stay were disinterested and unhelpful only looking up from their phones for the bare minimum of hospitality. We dined one night in the ‘restaurant’ which was absolutely awful largely due to the kitchen catering for a large Japanese tourist group. Disappointing that we needed to point out how disgusting the dinner experience was so that we could be compensated with paying for one meal instead of both. We were told transfers to Ranua resort would be €10 per person each way and we had to discover ourselves that transfers were included with the tours we booked after we paid €60 unnecessarily in transfers. The experiences we had with the tours booked through Ranua were amazing and everything we wanted. The Finnish Horseride through the Forrest at night was absolutely beautiful. We recommend Ranua Resort employ people at the Artic Fox Igloos that have the same amount of enthusiasm toward the end of their season as we are sure they do at the beginning.
