The Glass Igloo is small and not much space to open the luggage, however they have a very nice hot water shower which has around max. 25mins which you will be able to relax from whole day travel ☺️ . The location is not near airport, takes almost 40mins. shuttle bus from Santa Clause village to hotel. Though this location is really good for the chance of seeing Northern Lights ! We did ! Unluckily their ice bar and ice restaurant both under renovation and we don’t have chance to experience. That’s the downside of it.

The hotel is relatively clean, the food is not delicious and the price is very expensive.
The reception is not open 24 hours a day and it is difficult to get drinking water at night.
The hotel's special car service to and from the city center and the airport is very expensive.
The price/performance ratio is quite low.

The glass igloos are absolutely amazing and so cosy and warm. So nice to come in to after being out in the cold all day! The SnowHotel is so fun to look around, it’s really cool how you get to see all of the themed rooms before guests show up for the night.
The restaurants were lovely, we had dinner at the SnowHotel which was an amazing experience and the breakfast buffet the next morning was delicious and varied. There is also a public sauna which I thought was great as it was free. The Aurora Alarm is an added bonus in each room - it’s good to know you won’t miss it because you’re asleep.
I would definitely recommend this property - it was romantic and a once in a lifetime experience set in an absolutely stunning backdrop of Finnish forest.

An absolutely amazing experience. Never thought I'd sleep in a room with temperatures inside of -5 and outside -25 but you do.
