We visited here years ago and loved it so much wanted to return. It’s now been refurbished to a casual concept hotel with remote check in. Everything you need is sent via an app. Dining area and lounge gorgeous decor. Bedroom was sparsely furnished and wasn’t as luxurious. Outside needed a sprucing up with litter and weeds. Paid parking at the rear of the hotel very convenient. Breakfast was very good. Ruhpolding is a lovely town but sorry we miss the personal touch! Remote access is not for us.

We stayed at this lovely hotel whilst attending the Biathlon which is held in Ruhpolding every year. We had a warm welcome from Anya on reception when we checked in. Our room was on the top floor. It had a glorious view over the garden and up towards the mountains. Everything was clean and well appointed. The hotel restaurant was absolutely brilliant. We had dinner here often as the menu was varied and the food delicious, and beautifully presented. Marcus and his team could not have been more welcoming, and the service was excellent. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice, including, fresh bread, croissants etc, delicious jams, cheeses and meats etc etc. Also bacon and eggs! We loved our stay here and can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. We will return in Spring/Summer and set off on some of the lovely walks to be had close by. Also the local train service is excellent. It is only 50 minutes away from Salzburg!

Ein altehrwürdiges Haus, chic neu designt, direkt im Zentrum, aber ruhig. Wir hatten das Zimmer "roomy" und es war tatsächlich geräumig, mit bequemen Sesseln und sehr guten Matratzen. Badezimmer war bisl klein, aber so ist das eben bei den antiken Gebäuden. Beim elektronischen Einchecken war zum Glück der Besitzer da und half uns, sonst hätten wir das mit der Kurtaxe problematischer gefunden. Überhaupt gab er sich viel Mühe, immer ein freundliches Wort. Und das Frühstück war Spitze, super leckere Brötchen, kleine Schälchen mit Eisalat etc., wechselnde warme Eispeisen und echtes Bircher Müsli. Parken haben wir extra bezahlt, war also kein Problem, einen Platz direkt am Haus zu bekommen.
