Hotel Borkovac met all my expectations. It is surrounded by a pine forest, and nearby are Lake Borkovac, a hiking trail in a forest setting, sports fields, an outdoor gym, and a children's playground. Here you can enjoy a rich wellness and spa program, Thai massages, tepidarium, steam bath, salt room and Finnish sauna, as well as two Jacuzzis and an indoor pool. The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the food is excellent with generous portions. You have a huge parking lot within the hotel. All recommendations.

I arrived on Sat for a much needed weekend break with a couple of friends. As I was driving in to park the car, I prayed that I got the address wrong because there was a big wedding party at the hotel with unbearably loud music. Unfortunately, the address was correct. Of course nobody informed us about the wedding so Sat was all about trying to find small corner to hide away and find some peace to exchange a couple of words with friends. The beautiful restaurant terrace was not available for the guests as that is where the wedding was. And as if one wedding party was not enough, when I went to bed and opened the windows, there was another loud wedding party in the restaurant literally next to the hotel. At that point, having driven 500km to get to that place I was sort of desparate. The next day surprises keep coming: no water in the room - we had to change the room. The new room does not have enough made beds and towels - we complain again. In the restaurant, there were so many mistakes made on out orders from different staff which were made in the context of pre-made package offers that should be easy to manage. Then they close half of the restaurant for important renovation works spreading the dust everywhere so whilst I am having massage in the SPA I am having to bear the noise of heavy drilling above my head. In summary - it was a huge disappointment of how unprofessionally the place is run. Unbelievable!

Very helpful and friendly staff, amazing customer service. Very clean. We had a wonderful stay and will be back again. Highly recommended for solo travelers and couples. A genuinely wonderful experience.
