Our connecting flight was through Zurich, but unfortunately, it got cancelled and we had to stay overnight.
I chose a hotel mainly for its location and affordability since it was only for one night.
The receptionist gave us a room, and since we were already exhausted from traveling—it was around 9 p.m.—we just wanted to rest.
However, when we entered the room, it smelled like drainage and the bed looked as if it had already been used.
I had to go back down to explain the situation to the receptionist. Thankfully, another woman—she wasn’t very tall, had long hair, and dark skin—was extremely helpful and reassigned us to a clean room.
Meanwhile, I overheard multiple complaints about the first receptionist (the blonde, light-skinned one). Apparently, she even gave another guest a room that was already occupied
