Moonlit Cove is located in a fantastic gated community in Lake Lure and boasts picturesque community amenities such as the beach at Mirror Lake, the jaw-dropping broad river, and a fun hiking trail that leads to a gorgeous waterfall. This home also comes with a canoe to enjoy the beauty of Mirror Lake. Within 5 miles, you'll find Ingles supermarket, attractions, and several restaurants. The entrance to Riverbend at Lake Lure is conveniently located off of Hwy 64, meaning Hawks Terrace. It is easy to commute between the day trips that may take you toward Rutherfordton or the Hendersonville, Asheville Area.
Riverbend features two private lakes, a sandy beachfront, the Broad River, and an outdoor pavilion for grilling, family fun, and community events. A nature trail follows along the Broad River as it winds through Riverbend.

The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. This will not affect the smaller lakes in the area, only Lake Lure itself.

Per the website www.townoflakelure.com: Lake Use in 2025- Town Council and Town leadership are keenly aware of the importance of reopening the Lake as soon as it is safe to do so. Given the timing of the work that has been completed thus far and the need for ongoing work moving forward, it is extremely unlikely that the Lake will be able to open for the 2025 summer season. (This includes motorized and non-motorized vessels and swimming.) For those of you who have been following our storm recovery process closely, this news may not be a surprise to you. I thought it was important to share this news with you directly. Please note that Town Council and Town leadership will continue to evaluate options for opening the Lake or portions of the Lake and we will continue to keep you informed with any updates as new information becomes available.
Smoking is prohibited in all of our vacation rental homes.
