not so charming hotel - 2 Star
I booked three Superior rooms for a two-night stay for my family in mid-July. The hotel website advertised a pool and beach access, an important factor in our selection. In fact, while the hotel has a lovely garden and friendly staff,
it does not have an actual pool – only a spa that can be booked for a fee. Guests who book through ******* are furthermore excluded from access to the beach unless they pay extra because, we were told, that is only for the hotel’s guests which we apparently were not (we were invited to take it up with *******).
The supposedly superior rooms (at 230 EUR/night) were standard at best and substandard in some cases (one of the bathrooms was so small that the open door grazed the sink; one of the TVs was a small computer screen) and the air conditioning was not working properly – a particular problem since we had a three-month-old baby with us. We spent the best part of the day chasing after the staff to get the air con up, with repeated assurances that it had been fixed while it had not. The next day my husband and I we were moved to another room while the others exchanged rooms among themselves so that the baby could stay in the relatively better conditioned room. Despite pleasant surroundings, facilities and services are not 4 star, and we felt grossly overcharged. will not return and do not recommend.

Amazing place to stay on a calm village, nice views and gentile people. The hotel is beautiful, they have rooms to attend some work meetings, and the garden is perfect to do afterwork. Breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner were tasty! Thanks for these good days!

Beautiful hotel and location. Few minutes from the beach. The garden is amazing and the food is cost effective and delicious. Hotel staff are welcoming and friendly -- always a pleasure. See you next year!

After discovering this enchanting place, every year we do not fail to book, even if we have a few days available. The structure is very nice, excellent services, very professional and kind staff. On this last visit, however, the feeling was that something is changing, this attention to the customer that distinguished them, is now less perceived. We arrive on Friday at past 21, we check in and the girl at the reception, very kind, takes us to the room. The air conditioner was on and was leaking a lot of water. They promptly changed our room. Over the years they have always assigned us rooms with a garden view, but we found ourselves sleeping facing the back, above the kitchen rooms. Hot room, with air conditioning without night position or only dehumidifier. When asked to change the room, we were told it wasn't possible. The glass in the shower didn't flow well. We then pointed out that a lamp in the mirror was burnt out, but it hasn't been replaced. However, we will return to visit, taking care at the time of booking, to verify the position of the assigned room.

Enchanting location directly on the lake, always breezy and fresh especially on the sunbeds on the private dock. The Total white structure with strong contrast with the colors of nature offers sensations of distant holidays. Well-kept rooms even if a little dated. But small negatives are contrasted by an adequate service to the soberly elegant structure. Good and discreet breakfast that served in the park makes it perfect. Private shuttle for the beach available on call. A gem.

The hotel is reminiscent of a large villa from the early 1900s, it is located in a quiet area of Sabaudia, with a wonderful garden overlooking the lake (vote 9 for the location) Elegant common areas, shabby chic furnishings. Very courteous reception on our arrival (vote 8). Only one elevator a bit slow. Small room (score 6.5) but very quiet, air conditioned and overlooking the garden. Despite an evening event, we did not experience any disturbing noises. Comfortable bed but a little small. Dated bathroom (vote 5) with bathtub, a modernization is strongly recommended. There are no bathrobes or slippers. It is possible to have breakfast in the beautiful garden, quality ingredients for a good quality savory and sweet breakfast (score 8). To occupy the day you can go to the sea, the beaches are about 1 km from the hotel. A partner beach is available (€50 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, including the shuttle), in my opinion too expensive for the quality of the establishment which is very spartan (score 5.5). A bar service for cold dishes is available. Fine sand beach, clean water, gently digrating sea. One night in a standard room in July, including breakfast €300, to which you must necessarily add the beach for 2 half days (€100), for a total (in my opinion high) of €400. Value for money overall rating 5.5
