It's super good. I will stay here again if I have a chance next time. This is a true vacation. Dinner is by the ocean, and you can enjoy the sunset and sunset while dining. I ate the most delicious lobster 🦞 here, bar none. People who like Samoa are simple and enthusiastic. Sleep until three poles in the sun every day, eat breakfast, and then go swimming in the nearby ocean to catch fish 🐟, or just face the sea and bask in the sun on the balcony of your room. It’s just that there are a lot of mosquitoes 🦟, so you have to buy mosquito repellant before going to the island. Except that the bath water is not hot, there are no other disadvantages. People who like cats 🐱 can also pet cats. The cats here are so cute! It hurts to be sensible. There are several attractions nearby as well. The taxi driver the hotel helps call is very reasonable. Much cheaper than calling from the pier. If you want to go, you can contact the hotel to help call a car to pick you up. recommend!

Recently there in Jan 2024. Overall, an average stay for 2 families. We stayed in the 2 family units. The highlight of this hotel is the pool and beach. We enjoyed and made use of the pool, kids swam in pool every day. We liked and enjoyed the breakfast. The pancakes are really nice. Our beds were very comfortable. Rooms were clean, but the overall facility has basically seen better days, and looking tired. But the location /view is beautiful. We arrived very very late past check-in time, so appreciated the staff waited for us. Overall our stay was fine, we didnt have high expectations, and knew it wasnt going to be flash. Its a realistic stay for a lower* rated hotel. Food-Unfortunately my daughter had an undercooked meat pattie in her burger, and then got sick and had bad diarroeah for the next 4 days which was really disappointing. Our highlight was the pool which was nice and big, and a really beautiful view of the beach from the pool.

I like the location which closed to the beach. The food, dining area, pool and around the resort will need a massive upgrades.

Stayed here for 4 nights (2 in a fale & 2 in a villa). It was the worst place we have ever stayed at....the place is a dump in need of some serious maintenance. Got woken up both mornings about 6.15 by staff yelling & laughing loudly. We couldn't even see the view cause of a big pile of dirt outside our fale, that's if you could tie the blinds up with all the broken strings, both deck chairs were broken, rotten floor board, In the villa the tap was just hanging on the bench, no plugs in bathroom, no toiletries supplied, disgusting brown water when you flush the toilet, dirt splattered up the wall and no hot water for both nights in the villa. Neither the fale or the villa were serviced at any time. Breakfast was pathetic!, certainly not a continental or full buffet breakfast that we paid for...had to go elsewhere for a full cooked breakfast & decent coffee. Staff are lazy & rude. They can't be bothered setting tables for guests, unlike other resorts we went to. They don't wear uniforms so you don't always know who the staff are. They use the resort as their own little social gathering place & don't care about looking after their guests. They play loud party music at the bar...not just background music. This was the only kind of "entertainment" you got here, unlike other great resorts we visited. The games room that is actually a work site & should've been screened off to guests. Their pool table & cue are in a disgusting state, like everything around the place. Emailed the owner as a coutesy with photos before posting this review. He offered a refund which was insulting as it didn't even cover one nights stay & told him so, of course no reply! Seems to be the way this place does business...doesn't care that they are charging guests a fortune to stay & giving them budget everything!! Tell anyone you know thinking of going to Samoa to not even bother with Stevenson's at Manase

TERRIBLE & a waste of money 😞 Place is old and dirty. Service is shocking. Water was dirt brown on the day we arrived. There’s NO TV or Wifi. Toilet is basically in open in the room with only a cupboard door. Baby’s cot was disgusting 🤮 see pics. They close the restaurant early at 8pm and then charge you $10 for takeaway or delivery to your room which is not far at all. Breakfast was not that great either - small serve of eggs with one toast and if you ask for more it’s an extra $15tala which I had to pay for my 8month baby.

Do NOT stay here. Female in the office was rude on arrival, like she was doing you a favour. The whole place is broken, dangerously so. It needs a complete overhall. I can hardly believe it is running as a charging buisness. Our room was so very dirty, the toilet wasnt properly screwed to the floor. Limited menu, young waiters bar staff tred to be accomodating (only positive). At 10am they turned the water off to the cabin on checkout but while I was still in the bathroom. VERY expensive.... so very dissapointing. If I was a booking agency I would be embarresed to have this as a liting. Please dont waste your money and time.

Disappointing. Reception on arrival disinterested and unwelcoming and just went down hill from there. We had booked 10 days but bailed after 2 days. Food outrageously expensive. Resort looks tired, no beautiful gardens, mould on trellis, aircon unit sitting on rocks, outdoor shower blocked. We had expected a beach but there wasn’t one but steps down to the water. Digger scheduled to start again and building maintenance which meant a hammer! We wrote to the manager and asked for some type of refund bc it didn’t live up to what we had expected. Sadly no response at all. It has potential but needs maintenance and decent food is important. It was a long way to go and worked out very expensive as we had to go back to Upolu and find and pay again for accommodation. In the end we flew black to NZ after weighing up out options and cut out Samoa trip short. Not the holiday we were after 🙁
