Excellent people working there, especially Faize that could advise me every single time about the gluten free options. She was very kind, one of the nights she even prepared a desert for me to avoid any cross contamination. All staff there were very kind and available to my questions and to give my gluten free cookies whenever I’d ask if you think about go there with a food restriction, please ask directly to the chef and they will guide you! Amazing experience! I love Morocco! It's people are the kindest, warmest, gentlest you can imagine. This time, I went to Saidia, Iberostar Waves. Wonderful staff! Everyone is really nice, friendly, lovely professionals. I would like to highlight Chef Kamal, Maitre Karim, Rashid at the Bar, Hanane at Reception, The Spa Manager. These are the kindest and most professional staff I have ever known. The rooms are generous in space, the food is varied and delicious! The hotel has two spaces of swimming pool. In one of them, you have activities throughout the day. "Happy Man" teaches with skills his classes and brings joy and fun for everyone. His stretching classes in the morning immediately set the day on an amazing note. The beach is right in front of the hotel with warm waters and sun loungers. There is high quality night entertainment on a daily basis. We bought a one day tour to Fez, which I really recommend to have a sense of Morocco life! Overall, I loooove it!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-designed, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff was welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. What stood out the most was how entertaining the overall experience was — from the live music in the lounge to the engaging activities arranged for guests, there was never a dull moment. The dining options were also excellent, with a variety of delicious dishes to choose from. Overall, this hotel combines comfort, great service, and an entertaining atmosphere, making it a place I’d love to return to.

During the first week of July, we travelled to Saidia for our annual family holiday. Not being our first time in Saidia, this year we selected Iberostar Waves Saidia for our vocation being this our first stay in the nominated resort. Upon arrival the check-in was quick with a brief overview of all the amenities, facilities and layout of the property served with a complementary welcome drink. The rooms are very well sized, clean, comfortable beds, mini bar to keep you water chilled and air-con that works just perfect. A special thank you to all the housekeeping staff that maintain a spotless room with fresh towels and sometimes a few décor surprises on the beds and drapes. The only update needed in the rooms would be the bathrooms to give it a more modern fresh look. Exterior the whole resort is very well maintained and clean. The pools are great, and you never get that overcrowded feel due to the size of the three main pools. We always had sunbeds even on those days that we only went to the pool in the afternoon. When it comes to meals, most of them were at the Oujda buffet restaurant with a large variety of local and international dishes. Staff was great and we always had tables ready and never felt overcrowded. A special thanks to Zakaria and Wassila – both great professionals and really nice, going on and beyond to help you. We also made dinner reservations for the other three restaurants – Marrakech; Oki and Fez – being all great options when it comes to cuisine. You have a variety of 5 bars throughout the resort and this time with a special thank you to Ziahd at the Lobby bar. There are filtered water dispensers throughout the whole resort – bars, restaurants and corridors that lead to the rooms. The day animation staff are great, and there are activities all day long around the pool and at the beach. The night shows were great fun with original material except for the Michael Jackson tribute that has been a constant in every resort for the past 20 years, in my opinion this one could be dropped. This time my thanks goes out to Mario and Ben. The resort is a great getaway for a perfect family holiday, and this is also due to the great staff they have, starting with the front desk to the housekeeping, they all make an effort to help and understand you in the most basic things you might need or query. Don't come. Unless you have really low standards, this is not for you. Its a 3 stars hotel maximum. The hotel needs serious work. The pool water is always dirty, just out some water glasses and see. Some of the pool tiles are broken and may cut you, just like i have witnessed with a kid that cut himself in the hand In the kids pool. The animation is all based on music and dancing all the week. Always the same. Special attention with the food unless you want to spend the week in the toilet. The Booking restaurants are really not worth it. The drinks are just pre made in machines. All from weird brands and horrible. I just feel like they don't care about quality in this hotel. They just target the cheapest products they can find. A Simple whiskey like JB is payed. The nearest tours are 1 hour distance and still they make a stop in a local shop and try to force sell you some special oils that cure "everything". The interesting tour is 4.30 hours distance, you leave at 5 in the morning. The beach could BE good, if there was not piles of Trash everywhere. Marocan people just leave trash in the sand normaly, then ends in the water by night. Garbage bins almost inexistant. Don t get fooled by good reviews.

Recreation on the plus side. As for the food, it is good and varied (although not my tastes), drinks okay, hotel rooms clean, cleaned daily. Beach at the hotel huge, clean, there are hotel loungers however no bar there, only water available. Hotel pools are 3 or 4, everywhere you can easily find a place. From the hotel it is close to the Marina in Saidia and to the city center. The hotel has some kind of sports activities conducted by animators every day and always some kind of thematic show in the evening. As for the downsides it is certainly that the hotel does not serve bottled water, there are only distributors with filtered water available in the corridors or at the bars. The rooms also lack electric kettles. I also encountered a strange thing (and not only me, I mean the Polish tourists who came with me from the same travel agency) and that is that we had to carry our suitcases to the rooms ourselves and, most importantly, find the rooms ourselves, and I should point out that the hotel is huge. No hotel boy was available, and I saw that other tourists were normally carried suitcases and escorted to their rooms ... overall a successful stay

The vacation was definitely a plus. Of course, there are things to complain about (e.g., no kettle in the room or the fact that the bellboy does not bring your luggage to the room, so you have to look for it yourself, and the hotel is huge). As for the food, it is good and varied, the drinks are fine, and the hotel rooms are fine—clean. The beach next to the hotel is huge and clean, and there are hotel sun loungers, but there is no bar, only water is available. There are 3 or 4 hotel pools, and you can easily find a place everywhere. The hotel is close to the marina in Saidia and the city center. The hotel also offers plenty of daytime entertainment and there is always some kind of themed show in the evening. I recommend it!
