I'm here to share one of the most unfortunate experiences I've ever had in my life as a traveler and as a tourist that happened at one of Cedric's places. My daughter, who has always been a fan of Cedric's work, has been trying to book the afternoon tea experience at his new place recently opened in Courchevel and she's been in contact with the hotel from Brazil ever since she learnt we would be in town for our skiing trip. Even though she saw on his instagram account the telephone number to make the reservation, the hotel's been refusing to take any reservation request attempts from her. Knowing reservation would be a hard call, we've decided to arrive an hour before tea time today for a better chance to get a table and the hostess who welcomed us forward us to the hotel next door to wait for our table since the hotel where the place is located won't let any of the guests to wait there. As soon as we got back to check if our table was ready, we've been told by the manager that there was no more room for us to seat. He also wouldn't allow us to talk to the hostess that gave us all the information at the time of our arrival, arguing she was a nobody and that he is actually the boss and "calls all the shots there", literally pushing us out of the place amongst other people in a similar situation. I don't know if Cedric cares for his reputation or his brand's and his name and many of his followers but that obnoxious manager certainly doesn't. Me and my family have never been so mistreated and humiliated in our lives and we at least wanted to let everyone know.
