Had an overnight stay for a birthday party. Very friendly staff, room was spotlessly clean and very up to date. Great shower. Lots of tea, coffee and chocolate drinks and water in room complimentary.
Buffet was amazing and breakfast was delicious.

This was our second stay. Both times have been excellent. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Food is excellent and the rooms are well designed and clean. Can’t fault our stay and will definitely be returning.

When I arrived, I felt I was being spoken to by a Head Mistress!
Dining stated 8.30pm but I was told, the latest was 7.15 so I changed my mind and eat out somewhere else.

Beautiful property in a lovely location. Picton House looks even better in person than it does in pictures. Attention to detail present in absolutely everything and food was superb. Loved my stay here and appreciated how kind, warm and friendly everyone was

We came to celebrate our Anniversary and my birthday to an area we have not visited before but had always wanted too, I booked this off the internet and from the minute we walked through the door it was like we were part of the family, Holly and Gareth were both welcoming and very friendly, nothing seemed too much trouble, the room (room 1) was lovely with view over the river. We dined in all 3 nights as the food was delicious and varied, on my birthday Holly came out with my pudding with a firework in and they all sang happy birthday which was lovely. The locals were so friendly too and we enjoyed their company. We will definitely come again and have already recommended to family and friends. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, keep doing what you do as you both are what this hotel is all about.

We stayed on the 12th and 13th July and had a thoroughly relaxing time. The room (3)was a decent size and very clean. It was next to the very quiet road,so apart from a couple of tractors (don't forget you're in the countryside) and a few cars,no problem with noise. All the staff were pleasant and helpful and the food and drinks were of a high standard and very reasonable price. If we are in the area again, we will definitely visit again.
