Lower Trengale Farm Holiday Cottages

We booked all of the cottages at Trengale for accommodation for our wedding in May 2024, and every cottage was absolutely perfect. A few of the cottages had also been recently refurbished to a very new and modern standard, and it was so lovely staying in the countryside at Trengale Farms with their honesty shop and games room which had a pool table. The cottages are also brilliant for children, with a Gruffalo nature trail, plenty of land to explore and animals to see, and a play area right in front of the cottages. Gemma and Andy are lovely hosts and very welcoming, and made us feel right at home. We would fully recommend Trengale hope to visit again one day!

The cottage was lovely and the couple who own it (Gemma and Andy) did everything possible to make our stay a very good one. No issues with the accommodation (our issues were with the weather!). Internet was good, which is often a worry in old stone cottages.

Dear Gemma and Andy. Thank you both so much for a pleasant relaxing stay June/July 2023 also the postcard and token gift, which arrived today. We really enjoyed our time with you and would definitely be happy to revisit next time we are in Cornwall. Our accommodation and facilities were exemplary, and all within easy access to other locations such as Truro, Plymouth, St Austel, St Michael’s mount and Tintagel to name a few. We really couldn’t have picked a better setting, nestled amongst quiet country lanes and the beautiful Cornish countryside. All the best Karen and Billy.

We have had a wonderful time visiting lots of Cornish wonders. St Ives was so beautiful & St Michaels Mount is a must to visit. Our accommodation was absolutely first class. The location was ideal to visit locations at the top of Cornwall. Definitely recommend this place to have a great Cornwall adventure. Eight of us stopped in two separate cottages. So picturesque and quiet with absolute stunning scenery.

Really lovely long weekend at Lower trengle farm as a family. This kids loved the playground and seeing the lambs and it was a great spot for exploring both Cornish coasts. Thanks to Gemma and Andy for being such great hosts. See you again soon

Had the loveliest couple of days away at the cottages. The beds were so comfy and sheets soft slept like an absolute baby nearly 12 hours! Beautiful grounds and setting with Christmas trees, amazing view over the countryside and near lovely little streams. We had a friends 30th in the function room which had mini kitchen and lovely wood burner, along with a brilliant games room which played pool table tennis and other games all night. Such a lovely setting and hosts. Thoroughly looking forward to coming back with some gal pals for some relaxation

Wonderful family long weekend. The cottages were clean, comfortable and well equipped. The Function Room had plenty of room for the whole family and the Games Room was the scene of very competitive pool and table tennis matches. Great countryside and lovely walks. Thank you Gemma and Andy.

We can not recommend Lower Trengale Farm enough after returning from an brilliant week away in beautiful Cornwall! So much to do and see, many visits to the beach. Fowey Cottage was lovely and the perfect place to stay with 2 families and 2 dogs! Our son had the best time playing in the park, woodland walk and Gruffalo hunt. Thank you again to Gemma and Andy for being such great hosts!

Not enough words to describe Lower Trengale, Comfortable, spotless, friendly and peaceful, just as starters. Great hosts, cottage and it’s surroundings are lovely. Homemade Cream tea on arrival. Central to many places to visit. Look forward to returning.
