I travel for 35 years - This hotel is exceptional!! The location, the team and the atmosphere they create. The hotel is an absolute jewel - beautifully designed - a perfect mix of elegant & modern design . the food topped everything! Spectacular! You must fine there! Absolute master class. Thank you!

A really lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings and attentive staff. The pool was beautiful and staff lovely throughout. Our room was clean and had a wonderful view of the ocean for sunsets. Food was good but for the price I think not amazing, we had lunch and dinner while staying. The dinner was good, we had the 4 course tasting menu and they made changes for my dietary requirements. Breakfast was very nice each day. We also had lunch one day, but that was disappointing. For €39 the langoustine sandwich needs to be amazing, it was boring and lacked flavour, it was also small. The salmon plate was better but still very expensive for the size.

Beautiful property, the rooms are a delight and the view is spectacular. Unfortunately we had some really noisy neighbours who woke us up with their nighttime activities… if there had been better sound proofing I woudnt hesitate to give Blue Margouillat a five star

A very lovely place to stay in all regards. The building, pool and garden - all overlooking the coastline - have been beautifully designed. The rooms - with balconies and sea views - have also been designed with great care that make them a delight to be in. Tables on the patio and beside the pool are equally gorgeous. Very fine dining. Kind and attentive staff. Remarkable wine and cheese cellars. There is a great deal to enjoy staying here. Of course it is not cheap!

We stayed here for the first three nights of our honeymoon. Our travel agent told us the restaurant was the best on the island but we were blown away by the quality of the food. It is easily the best food we have ever eaten and probably will ever eat. The cheese cellar is really special and a must for cheese lovers. The whole hotel was beautiful and we enjoyed the amazing view from our room. The hotel were very helpful with our rental car and dropped us off to go and collect it. When we left, we were given a homemade olive oil and vinegarette which was a lovely touch. We hope to visit this special hotel again.

I am deeply disappointed with my experience at this hotel and feel compelled to write a negative review. When making a reservation, the hotel insisted on booking a double room for us, claiming that our 6-month-old daughter needed her own space. Obviously, our baby cannot sleep alone at such a young age. When I pointed this out to the hotel, they responded that they wanted to give us the most expensive room because they were concerned about the baby disturbing other guests in the other building. I find this attitude to be highly unsympathetic and lacking empathy. Additionally, the rooms they proposed were not advertised as "adult only" on any search websites or their own website. I regret not being able to stay there, but it is better to know these things in advance and be able to book elsewhere. I am truly ashamed that Relais & Chateaux includes a hotel with such an attitude. We usually stay at Bonvoy hotels where we are platinum members and have never encountered anything like this. In fact, we have always been treated kindly and accommodated for bringing our daughter, who is a calm and quiet child.

We stayed 3 nights, which we highly recommend as it allows one to experience the exceptional cuisine and wines on offer complemented by a warm hospitality in and idyllic relaxing setting made of a 360 degree view over the St Leu Village and whale infested ocean below with the most beautiful sunsets as a back drop. We didn't want to leave.
