The hotel is in a very convenient location in Intra- Muros. Few minutes walking distance to the tourism office incase you have any questions on planning to travel outside of st malo. Well maintained hotel. The owner is welcoming and gave good advice on where to visit in the walled city. Will recommend to anyone.

This is a lovely privately owned hotel. The hotel is centrally-located on a small street. The owner and staff are very pleasant The decor is very welcoming. The rooms are small, but no smaller than equipment sized hotels. The breakfast and drinks available for purchase at Happy Hour are a nice touch.

Myself and wife plus one other couple had a 2 night stay at this hotel. I has a great location within the walled city with parking nearby and lots of shops, Restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Quiet area except if you are in the front of the hotel we had room numbers 1 & 2 early morning noise from rubbish collection and street cleaning, the positive on this is that the walled city is quite immaculate. On first viewing the hotel is lovely and welcoming, breakfast (additional cost) was also very good. Rooms were 3 star, very small and the beds certainly in our rooms very very uncomfortable, I would suggest replacing promptly. Showers could do with being replaced with thermostatic valves for safety if nothing else, if you are tall like myself every time you turned in the shower you end up nudging the water temperature regulator which can result in scalding or just cold water, a thermostatic valve would sort this issue straight away and is not expensive. Christophe and colleagues were excellent just let down by the room size and beds etc. David Anderson

A quirky St Malo hotel. The rooms are compact but the personal service provided by Christophe is excellent. All his recommendations were excellent. The breakfast is generous and good value. The hotel is in an excellent location, just near the wall and all sites in St Malo are in easy access

What a little gem of an hotel! Perfectly situated within the heart of the walled city and within easy walking distance of the Brittany Ferry port, it proved to be a true delight. Our rooms, although somewhat small, were clean and attractive with very comfortable beds and a well equipped shower room with piping hot water and fluffy white towels. The location was an ideal location from which to explore the town and the help and kindness of the manager ensured that our stay was a great experience. Many thanks .

Our welcome was excellent and informative and the gentleman on reception makes a good first impression. As with many Saint Malo intra-muros hôtels, space is at a premium and the lift was minuscule as was the room but not unexpected. The room was clean but was definitely a challenge for three people in terms of size. The en suite is separated from the room by a flimsy Perspex sliding door so not much privacy. Also, the window looked directly into a house window just across the narrow street. Decor is reasonable but our room’s condition was not as good as the impression given by the decor at reception. The shower had mould and the radiator was very rusty. However, despite its size the shower was powerful and did the job. Better value than most hotels within the walls. Did not have breakfast but we were given lots of recommendations for bakeries for a quick breakfast which was kind.
