St Marys Hall Hotel

The best bit, all of it! I felt so welcome as soon as I checked in. Every interaction with the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was super comfortable and the food was incredible. The hotel had such a chilled feel, whilst being very professionally run. The bar area was nice to sit and have a drink in the evening before heading into dinner. The staff again so friendly and welcoming. Really, such a good experience. Loved it!

Location was ideal,the whole atmosphere in the hotel was very relaxing,one of the best breakfasts we have ever had in hotel accommodation, the room was spacious and very comfortable.

The hotel is a really nice place to be. The staff were brilliant and the food was to die for. You will not be disappointed staying at the Hall.

We stayed here for a week as part of an organised tour of the Isles of Scilly. Our room was a Godolphin room, their cheapest room that is described as "modern and compact". This room costs over £350 per night for dinner, bed and breakfast so it's not a cheap option in Hugh Town, but the location is perfect for exploring. The room was indeed small and overlooked the kitchen with its noisy extraction fans: luckily these were only turned on from 7am to about 9pm. It also overlooked a small terrace with seating that could be quite noisy at times We found the room to be very warm. Every room has a fan as there is no air conditioning. We couldn't leave the window open at night because noise interfered with sleep. There was no chair in the room (or space to have one) so you had to spend time relaxing laying on a bed. The bathroom was adequate but only had a shower over the bath, but the bathtub is narrow making showering a little tricky. We did ask about upgrading to a better room but it wasn't possible to do this for the entirety of our stay. Despite these shortcomings, the staff were all friendly and efficient. The food was mostly excellent and that made up for the disappointing room. Overall I'd recommend St Mary's Hall but I would advise that you choose your room carefully, budgeting for a Countess Room or a Suite.

Another wonderful stay at St Mary’s Hall Hotel. The staff are so friendly here, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are comfy and the breakfasts are legendary. We’ve already booked again for next year ☀️
