The hot springs are great. There is also an open-air bath, and the water was just right so that you could actually doze off in the reclining bath. There was a wide selection of bathroom amenities, which was nice. We also enjoyed the delicious late-night snack service (dandan noodles), and the breakfast buffet had a good selection and taste. The observation deck has a 360-degree view, and the scenery was great, so we were able to relax and enjoy the view after checking out.

Even if you get hungry at night, the only thing you can get is instant noodles, and you have to make a reservation in advance to use the restaurant, so I was a little disappointed. Otherwise, I was satisfied.

Although it was barrier-free, I couldn't enter the large bath. I'm in a wheelchair. The large bath had stairs, so I could only use the family bath. That was a shame. The breakfast was good. I took a taxi to the roadside station and enjoyed eating strawberries.

The front desk staff were friendly and had a smile. The room had two beds, and the size and firmness of the beds were good. The building itself had a very old feel to it. Food was served by time, but due to a lack of staff, the service was not very good. It was quite crowded due to the long weekend. Overall, the rating is not very good.

I went there with my family (my wife and 3-year-old child). The food was delicious. Even my picky child ate heartily. Even people who are on the chubby side were very satisfied. The portions are large, so it's just the right amount to share with a 3-year-old without dinner. They also served miso soup with rice for free for children. You can really feel the chef's skill, or rather his commitment to taste. The facility was originally a Kanpo no Yu bathhouse, so it was inevitable that it was old, but the food and the attitude of the staff were excellent, and I think it more than made up for the oldness of the facility. Maybe it's a facility that's friendly to the elderly and wheelchair users! ? The facility is well-equipped with barrier-free access and handrails. I would like to stay in more. It's a great hotel! I recommend it!

The restaurant was closed for dinner that day, and the store was poorly stocked (lol). However, they offered a free "Tan Tan Noodles" service to guests, which saved me. I would like to use this hotel again (lol).

It was originally Kanpo no Yado, but Mystays Hotel bought it all together and rebranded it as Kamenoi Hotel. The building is old, but the bath is large and the open-air bath is comfortable. With the Kamenoi Hotel member card, you can get a 5% discount at the shop and a commemorative gift on your birthday month. There are three grades of meals. If you are a light eater, the inexpensive basic plan is enough in terms of quantity. Midnight noodles are served only to guests. The view of the Nikko mountain range from the observation deck is quite spectacular.

I used it for the first time in March on a business trip, and used it again in April. The front desk's service may be good or not so good, depending on the timing. It was a miss in April. There are many parking spaces, but if you check in late at night, it is safer to park in the parking lot right next to the entrance. The building is old, but it was built large because it was formerly a Kanpo no Yado. The breakfast venue is a Western and Japanese buffet, but the dishes using local vegetables and grated yam are delicious. When I go on a business trip, I'm always busy with work at night, so I'd be happy if the large public bath could be used until 1:00 a.m. instead of midnight. If you work hard in the morning and enter the bath after 6:00 a.m., you can change your mood for a moment while listening to the nightingales singing in the open-air bath. Even if you don't choose the dinner plan, if you come down the mountain (about a 10-minute drive away) there is a pharmacy and convenience store so you won't have any trouble getting the supplies you need, and as long as the service is maintained, I think this is a place I would find useful.

It's about 10km away by car from Utsunomiya city. The national highway is wide and easy to get to. The former Kanpo no Yado has a large site. The hot spring is average. There are fewer types of baths than the floor plan posted in the building. The Japanese-Western room was spacious for the price, even during the long weekend, and the food was substantial. The dinner course was convenient as we didn't have to go out to get food. The Wagyu beef shabu-shabu was especially good. The tantanmen noodles are served from 9pm. The price includes the accommodation fee, and you can have a refill for 500 yen, and you can also order beer and other extras on the spot. The breakfast buffet was also substantial. There is an EV charging facility. WiFi was good throughout the building.
