Super nice people and very clean. I loved the Bartenders Drinks. I am sorry her name has disappeared from my brain. Lovely German lady, her drinks were the best. They were pricey, but when your on vacation, treat yourself. I would go back again. The beds are twins downstairs in number 3, but still comfy.

Highly recommended (except if you have difficulties with 3-4 floors of stairs). If you can overcome those steps, you will be welcomed as a family member, get plenty of suggestions on what to do (and how) and an amazing breakfast.
The apartment I stayed was huge for one person, with airco and beautiful views of the streets. The view from the terrace is also amazing.
If even back in Salerno, I will surely stay here again!

Feeling that you’re at home) very nice hosts) cozy place) Great view from the terrace on the roof) everything you need in one apartment ) full equipped apartment with conditioner, refrigerator, wash machine, stove, hairdryer, TV. Like it a lot ) Public beach not far from apartment)

If you are looking for somewhere in heart of old town of Salerno, this is a goodbet. Lots of bars restaurants close by and Maria and son kindly recommended us a couple of good pizzerias. The location itself is in a block of flats like something out of an Elena Ferrantes Naples novel. Whilst the flat was spacious and well equipped, it felt tired with dents in wall and a shower handle that came off. It was also far from the glammed up pic on booking com which incidentally is Maria's own flat. All in all it wasn't expensive but perhaps more of a place for backpackers. Breakfast was ok and nice to sit with other guests.

Firstly I have to recommend Salerno itself. Salerno is within an hour of Naples, Amalfi coast, Pompeii and other ruins on public transport, but with less hustle and bustle, and more normal Italian life. Casa Maria is in the old town of Salerno, so it still has lots of visual charm. I booked the room with the kitchen so I could cook food bought from local grocers and fishmongers. Anthony and Maria are kind and accommodating hosts. Anthony speaks great English, which allows him to give good advice for getting the best out of your trip.

Antonio was awesome, I rented a scooter for a few days and was able to park in the courtyard, I asked for his suggestions for pizza and he WhatsApp'd me enough to keep me full for the entire week.. such a welcoming person, I look forward to a return

Casa Maria è veramente come stare a casa di amici. Il bb si trova in pieno centro storico dispone di diverse tipologie di stanze e appartamenti tutti molto ampi, funzionali e pratici molto puliti. L' unica cosa che per il momento manca è l'ascensore, ma stanno procedendo alla costruzione. In ogni caso il panorama dall' ultimo piano, è incantevole. Accoglienza famigliare, estrema disponibilità della proprietaria e del figlio, e colazione ricca e varia fatta in casa completano il piacevole soggiorno. Graditissimi i preziosi consigli di Antonio, su cosa vedere e dove mangiare. esperienza da ripetere. Bravi!

Ho soggiornato una sola notte con una mia amica,la casa era enorme con tutti i confort ed era vicina al centro.La colazione molto ricca con delle brioche fresche molto buone Maria è super gentile. È finita troppo presto...
