The RarityArt Mini Hotel was great. In a wonderful location to central Salerno, the Ferry terminal and the station. The check-in staff and the cleaning staff were friendly and so helpful and the unique design of the rooms was fun. The building is undergoing some slight renovations at the moment - I didn’t notice any noise or disturbance from it, but scaffolding is up so just thought people might want to know.

It was a very bad check-in experience, because the location of the hotel is good, and guests from European and American countries have good reviews, so although I don't particularly like B&B and other hotels, I still booked a 90m2 suite with a balcony. But I was too disappointed after checking in, so I can only give one star: - Dishonesty, discriminating against Chinese guests: After arriving, I found that the rooms given were not the ones I booked at all (there are only 6 sets in total, and each set is decorated differently), so I immediately contacted the front desk by phone, but was told that all the rooms have been given out , I will talk about it the next day; the next day I saw the front desk and said that the originally reserved room would be vacant on the third day and I could move in, but said that the room was not actually downgraded. I said I could show her the photo of the reserved room, and she said yes in a while There is a problem with the reservation system. After a while, they say that they can't contact me. They shirk their responsibilities and don't even apologize. - The hygienic situation is worrying: the towels are black, and one day I saw the washed wet towels hanging on the shelf in the corridor; the bathroom in my room was painted red, and the water was red when I took a bath... - The facilities are old and inconvenient: the hotel is on the second floor of an old-fashioned building. The front desk was still there when we arrived on the first day. They helped us move two pieces of luggage. There was an elevator and I didn’t know if it was running. No one helped us on the last day. It was a bit of a struggle to move down; and the outside of the building was being repaired with scaffolding, so the room was already dark and now it was even darker -Breakfast: Breakfast is not in the hotel, you have to go to the corner cafe to eat or pack with meal coupons, only one croissant and one cup of coffee are limited So I do not recommend this small hotel

Unfortunately, the owners/managers have decided to block me on WhatsApp and ignore my emails after they broke my iPad and have failed to do anything about it. It’s a shame, as my friend booked this hotel and I had high hopes, but after smashing my iPad and then blocking me after I left I am £100 out of pocket and my nice time in Italy has been ruined by this. Just beware of your possessions if you stay here!

Well-located hotel, one step to the bay and downtown, also 5 minutes to the ferry for Positano and Amalfi. Cozy place with all the accessories needed on a trip, a well-maintained place in a historic building with the most friendly staff. We will return!!

Great location. Not too far to walk from the station or to the boats for the Amalfi Coast, or to loads of close by restaurants. The breakfast, at the café around the corner, was excellent. Anna and Massimo made us feel very welcome.

Spent 3 nights' at the RarityArt Minihotel in the Renoir room and loved it. The check-in staff member (Mattheus) was incredibly kind, helpful and great at giving recommendations for places to eat and things to see. The rooms each having a unique art theme and style was lovely and despite the very hot 30+ degree days, the air-conditioning in the room worked a treat and it was always kept so clean. The hotel is also super convenient for getting to the Ferry/ Station, to the centre of town or to the beach. The only thing for people to keep in mind is the 20 or so marble stairs from the ground floor to the hotel on the first floor, but honestly, it didn't bother me. Would absolutely stay here again!

Very clean hotel, very welcoming and very helpful staff. The mini-hotel has beautiful rooms, with attention to the smallest detail. Strategic position for the historic center of Salerno. Highly recommended.

Apart from the renovations and the period building, the B&B is clean and tidy. In my opinion, however, for the breakfast that is served at the bar that is a stone's throw away, it could be improved a little. Very convenient because there is the seafront nearby with many clubs and many restaurants located.

Very central B&B, Renoir room furnished with taste and attention to detail, spotlessly clean, balcony on the main street. Very old building, very special. The owners are very helpful and kind. Breakfast in the Caldarelli pastry shop, on the corner of the street, is really delicious. The staff are welcoming and always smiling. Choice between sweet and savoury, excellent quality! Not at all friendly, indeed rude, at the Celentano garage, but this absolutely does not depend on the B&B. We stayed 5 days, to visit the Amalfi coast and see the artist lights show, and we can say that we really enjoyed it. We recommend the B&B without a doubt to all those who wish to visit Salerno in comfort.
