ゲストハウスの利用に詳しくない日本人、且つ年寄りには利用困難な施設ですね！グーグルマップでその場所にたどり着いても、明確な表示もなく、そこがホテルでであるとの認識できる物は何もありません。４部屋の施設と解った時（１0日ほど前）から不安を感じていましたが。近くの小さな店の男性に聞いて、鉄ゴーシのようなドアのある古い建物を見つけてやっと小さな表示を見つけました。電話してショートメールを貰いどうにか入室出来ましたが３０分以上かかりました。今後は必ず常駐者の居るフロントのあるホテルか確認します。

We enjoyed spending a night in Salerno after our cruise and the beginning of our two week road trip through Calabria and Sicily. Angela is a delight, and she made our stay at her Holiday Guest House memorable. Our room was comfortable and spotless. The breakfast she served was fresh, homemade and delicious.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our stay on the day of arrival due to issues with our flight. I wrote to Angela on the morning of the first date to say we were not able to attend and had no response at all. By this point we had paid for the stay in full ( over £325 ) and would of expected some form of response. In an attempt to salvage some degree of mutual resolution, my wife again wrote to Angela in Italian but again no response at all. As stated I know the room had been paid for, and it would appear that was all that mattered ! We will be returning to Salerno, but not to this accomodation.

We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Guesthouse and highly recommend it. The location was ideal: ~10 min from the train station and ~10 to the port. It was also just a few blocks to the main shopping and dining areas. Our rooms were clean and very nice. The bathroom was spacious. Showers were hot, and the room and bathroom had nice large windows that opened for fresh air. The rooms had a/c but it was not necessary to use. Breakfast prepared by Angela was wonderful. There were many foods to choose from including yogurt, fruit, cereals, pastries, meat and cheese, and Angela will cook fresh eggs. Coffee was lovely as well. For those with large luggage or mobility issues, please note that there are stairs at the entrance and the rooms are one flight up stairs. Angela was a wonderful and helpful host. We enjoyed chatting with her and having her recommendations and advice. We are glad to have been able to stay here and would return.

we arrived in a modern room that was clean. the location of the hotel is very good, near the bus stop, beaches, shops . but the best was yet to come and that is Angela herself. Extremely helpful and friendly, she prepares breakfast herself but also cleans the rooms. we had questions about parking in Naples and Angela immediately gave us tips. Angela called the parking lot on our behalf.

Angela is the perfect hostess, full of laughter and help in a morning when serving the plentiful breakfast. She also makes a brilliant coffee too. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well decorated. Instructions for access were perfect too and just made it really easy. We had 2 nights here before moving along the Amalfi coast. The guesthouse is located really close to the main area of Salerno within easy walking distance. A walk along the front in an evening is really relaxing and the various ‘trinket sellers’ were far more respectable than those in Rome and did not impose themselves on you. There’s plenty of on street parking if you have a car, just be prepared it may not be directly outside but within a ten min walk. Honestly could not fault the value, cleanliness, hospitality and fabulous breakfast. Great value and loved our wee stay here.

Great place to stay. The location is great, 10 minutes from the ferry and the train and there are buses nearby as well as many restaurant and close to Old Town which you don't want to miss. The rooms are nice and everything is VERY clean. Angela is the BEST host, she does everything, she cooks, cleans and answers any questions you might have. She even made us dinner reservations and gave us a list of recommendations. Since breakfast starts at 8:30, Angela has a place 2 doors away where you can get breakfast if you need to get out earlier. She also made us reservations for a ride to the airport, I can't say enough about this place and Angela except if I go back I will definitely stay there again.

Angela could not have been more helpful and welcoming, thank you Angela! We loved the building and the neighbourhood, it was convenient to everything we needed. The rooms were spotless and well set up. A great place to stay, highly recommended. Oh, and top breakfast too
