Hotel Miba

I’m currently lounging in Room 8 with panoramic views of Salobrena (topped by a Moorish Castle) and the coastline. Every aspect of our stay has been wonderful, brand new decor, wonderful artworks, lush linens & fluffy towels, comfy beds, huge balconies with cane furniture, with cushions and blankets for the cooler evenings. Great coffee, mineral water and a mini bar full of inexpensive snacks and drinks. The restaurant and bar are fantastic with further panoramic views. We didn’t have time to use the pool on the roof terrace - even fluffy pool towels are provided and beach towels on request. Hope to come back soon and glad we had 4 days here to make the most of it.

Our third time here. The service is amazingly friendly and very good. The rooms are beautifully decorated and all overlook the sea. Staff are brilliant and always ready to help. We will return next year as you can’t get too much of a good thing.

For us, it is impossible to fault this boutique hotel. The staff are wonderful, the views are spectacular and the food is amazing. This was our second visit in two years and we have just booked to go back next September. In 25 years of travelling all over the world, we have NEVER stayed at the same hotel three times. Hotel Miba is very very special. The roof top pool and bar really need to be experienced to understand the incredible views. Our iPhone camera could not do it justice. Thank you to every member of staff for making our stay so fabulous. The hotel, views and food are well worth the trip. But it is the staff that are the icing on the cake.

Excellent hotel. The rooms all face the sea and have a lovely view. The balcony’s are huge and lovely to sit on during the day and evening as you can have views of the castle and sea. You can not hear the road from the balcony or room and it is very quiet. The rooms are very spacious and the bed is very comfy. Lots of free parking next to the hotel entrance. The receptionist was very friendly. I walked into the town for evening dinner, which took about 10 minutes. Very easy to walk into town, just down the slip road which was actually very safe as it was used infrequently by cars. There are some lights around too to light your way (I am a female traveller). The pool area is very lovely to use and the hotel itself is clean. Well priced for the location and facilities. I would recommend this hotel to couples or solo female travellers and would return again if I was staying in the area.

A nice hotel and very friendly staff. We felt very welcome the moment we walked in. We had the biggest room, it had big terrace and sea view, which was nice. Room was clean, but more lamps would be good because the room is so big it easily gets dark in the evening. Breakfast was plenty and good. The hotel restaurant is a hidden pearl! We stayed two nights and had all our lunch and dinners in the hotel restaurant because it was so great. Few minuses: the hotel is located a little far from the city center and you need a car to get there, but driving in the city is a nightmare because of the narrow streets. Although beautiful view, the hotel is not on the shore and there is some kind of wasteland between the hotel and the sea and there were some dogs barking ALL NIGHT, non stop! I couldn't sleep because of that and it was horrid.

I had a very enjoyable week long stay in Salobrena during Dec'22 - Jan'23. The rooms are extremely comfortable & luxurious with a wonderful view of the castle & waterfront from the balcony. I used this hotel as a base for remote work and the WiFi is fast and reliable. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful that made my stay at Salobrena an experience to treasure. I will surely be back here at some point in future.
