This was my favorite hotel in Argentina! It's a small boutique hotel a few blocks from the main tourist area in Salta, in a quiet neighborhood across from a park. The people running this hotel are the nicest! The front desk staff speaks English, and they are all very helpful. Breakfast was the best I had of the 4 hotels I stayed at. Highly recommended!

We live in Cafayate and so make fairly regular trips to Salta City. For years we have been searching for a quality hotel that offered a fair value, something which has eluded us until we finally found MG Design Hotel early this week. The hotel is stylish, clean, with quiet, well-appointed rooms and an excellent staff. Breakfast was just about perfect (a better quality coffee would be nice). All in all, MG offers a flawless experience at a very reasonable price. So thrilled we have found our Salta headquarters!

An unexpected gem in our recent four week trip to Argentina. We stayed twice at the MG Design, at either end of a road trip in the area. The location is great, within easy walking distance of plenty of restaurants and the Cerro San Bernado Teleferico. The rooms are tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and have everything you could possibly need, even rose petals for the bath! Breakfast was excellent, lots of fresh fruit along with the usual Argentine breakfast fare and scrambled eggs cooked to order, definitely one of the best breakfasts we had on our trip. What really made our stay special though was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, particularly Stefania and Felipe. Along with speaking perfect English, their recommendations for local restaurants and help with money exchange/ airport transfers/ luggage storage etc was invaluable. If, as we hope to, we return to Salta in the future, we will definitely be staying in the MG Design.

We just stayed one night before catching a flight to Cordoba. My room was very comfortable and well appointed. Augustino was friendly and gave us good recommendations on where to eat. The hotel is well positioned near several great places to eat / drink. In the morning we enjoyed an excellent breakfast that was included in the price of the room. It was less than a 20 minute drive to the airport. We definitely will stay here next time we visit Salta.

My wife and I spent three night at the MG in Salta, which is a very comfortable hotel with a great location and a great style. The staff, Oscar and his colleagues, is simply amazing. Muy buena la ubicación. Personal muy amable. Habitación cómoda. No funcionaba el hidromasaje de la habitación. El desayuno no es malo pero podría mejorar incorporando algunos items. La pileta climatizada esta ubicada en la terraza, sin cubierta, el agua a muy baja temperatura, hacen imposible su uso en épocas invernales o de mucho frio como en mi caso. La cochera esta bastante lejos del hotel.

Hotel muy bonito, decorado un verdadero hotel boutique bien situado en Salta. Desayuno variado y bueno. Cáma y almohadas. cómodas. Baño estupendo. La atención del personal es exquisita, salvo el último día que el recepcionista se equivocó al llamar el taxi. Las habitaciones clásicas son muy pequeñas. Si vas con maleta hay que pelearse para saltar encima de ellas porque abiertas no se puede caminar por la habitación. Las habitaciones del tercer piso insoportables en verano. son muy calurosas y el aire acondicionado no es suficiente.
