We, from Kerala, were traveling for the first time to Rajastan. Our main intention was to have a feel of desert stay in Jaisalmer. Based on rating in different websites, we selected Shiv Tara Desert Camp. I had lot of queries on rooms/tents in desert as we Keralites are not adjusted to low temperatures. And we were traveling with mother and small children. In this regard, I was totally in touch with Tarun ji and Chandra ji, both from Shiv Tara. They really responded well to all my queries. They arranged an extra bed for us,based on my request. Stay was very fantastic. They arranged everything, desert jeep safari, camel safari. Tent was clean and well suited for family. Food was very tasty with proper hygienic maintained. Taxi driver Guman ji arranged by Shiv Tara was very co-operative throughout our stay in Jaisalmer. I strongly recommend Shiv Tara for a memorable and comfortable stay in Sam. Strongly recommended for families traveling with kids and elders.

Desert camp is at a very good location. we have stayed in Regale AC tent. They have provided complimentary camel safari included in our package. Although we have the option to do more camel ride on pay basis . Jeep safari is available on payment basis from desert camp. Food provided is good .staff is very good and cooperative. Cultural programme in the night is also good. Bathroom provided with the tent is also neat and clean.

We were at Shiv Tara Desert Camp for 02 nights and enjoyed a lot. The staff is very supportive, attentive and respondable as per the need. Starting from arrival experience, Camel n Zeep Rides, food, stay, culturalal activities and speacialy their hospitality were exceptional. Babu Charan, Pawan, Laxman, Pushpender and Gopal all are the amazing people working here and making the reason to stay. They have maintained the hygiene in all over the camp. In case if you are planning to visit Sam, Jaisalmer Shiv Tara Desert Camp is highly recommended!! Good Luck !!
