Very confortable and conveniently located, excellent pool areas. Plenty of walk and hike, a Mont Blanc at one hour drive.

Great location, cousy accommodation. Reception was very welcome. People were nice, we really liked our stay.

Nice accommodation; very near the skilift and the village. Maybe a window in the bedroom that can open would have been nice.

We had a 3 bedroomed apartment which while being expensive (UK half term & French hols) was clean and reasonably equipped, we do however object to having to ***** the beds etc. on departure. Fine to leave apt. clean but not paid to do the cleaners work! Sited reasonably close to gondola(10mins walk.) The main negatives are this hotel DOES NOT CATER FOR UK VISITORS. The entertainment was poor all in the French language with no consideration for English speaking guests and the bar was tiny with the entertainments taking place in reception area! The website gives a distorted view of the social aspects. Reception closed at 6pm until 8am.The apres ski snacks were poor, with limited choice. Whilst we accept that a credit card number is needed to cover any issues we object STRONGLY TO AN AMOUNT OF 300 EUROS being Taken off the card and a possibility of taking 10days to be refunded.. a nice little earner for them in interest!!! All in all not worth the money & would not recommend to English families.

We had 5 nights at MMV Samoens. As soon as we arrived at 1am, it was clear that the site was still a building site. There was no car parking unless you risk the multitude of No Parking signs. The only free parking is at the ice rink which is 500m away. The only other option is the MMV underground parking at 15 euros a night. They say beds are made up on arrival - one was and the other was not, so making a bed at 1.30am! We specifically booked this for the heated pool and outside swimming. And the outside hot tub. What a waste of money. The pool was so cold that you could not swim in it inside, let alone outside - it was a joke and no one used it. The hot tub was as cold as the pool, Why advertise this but not heat it to a useable temperature? Better to close it completely if its too expensive to run. The sauna and steam room were good, although are closed all day on a Saturday. It is close to the GME and the apartment was warm and very clean. The sound proofing between apartments is not good and you can hear everything - and I mean everything! Their ski partner ski hire shop is more expensive than anywhere else, even with the resident discount. We used Extreme Glisse.

Overall the accommodation was good and as advertised. However the check in process was a shambles. When we arrived at 5pm neither of the two rooms for our group were ready. The lobby was full of people, bags and equipment so obviously there were many rooms not ready. There was nowhere to even get a coffee as the bar was shut. My daughter had arrived at 11 o’clock thinking they could use the pool with their children but couldn’t because you needed a room key to access the pool and apparently the reception team can’t let you in! To cap it all the one elevator for our side of the block was out of order so we had to carry all our luggage and food etc up three flights of stairs. The check out process is very officious with all sorts of dire warnings of fines if the cupboards aren’t completely empty etc. The laundry room was a joke with two machines, one out of order, for both apartment blocks and the cost of 6 euro for a wash and 4 euro for a 15 minute dry seemed excessive.
