Weak for a 4 🌟, I expected more. The good thing, the hair dryer.

Been back for almost 2 weeks so better write my review. Had a nice relaxing holiday, plenty of walking, and just relaxed for the week. Before we flew out, I emailed the hotel with a few questions and had a very prompt reply from Felipe, so that was a good start. At the hotel, got checked in quickly, dropped our cases off and then they had provided some cold dinner for us as we had arrived late, so appreciative of that small gesture from them. Room was big, bed was reasonable comfy, but found the pillows a little hard for our liking. Good sized balcony, bathroom was spacious and shower was decent. Food was usual hotel buffet, but at least the majority of it was warm to hot, as usually buffet food is lukewarm, so that was nice to have for a change. There was a good choice each day, covering all bases of meats, fish, pasta etc. The only thing we found uninspiring was the choice of desserts, very little variation during our time here. Bar service was fine and reasonably priced (we were half board). Evening entertainment wasn't the best. There was 2 Queen music nights, Karaoke and bingo, along with a couple of singers/musicians and a magic/variety act (which we had seen at other hotels before). All, staff were fine, a little Ola or a few words of Spanish with them and they seem to appreciate it. You are about 20 minutes walk to the heart of PDC with its abundance of bars and restaurants if you fancy a different scene at night (or during the day), and maybe 15 to 20 mins the other way to Matagorda with a few bars and restaurants (a quieter area) and about another 10 to 15 mins further on to the end of the runway at the airport where you can watch the planes come in over your head. Your also within walking reach of Rancho Texas, which we decided to do as the last time we were there our kids were small and it was about 17 years ago, so its a bit different now. Overall, had a nice time here, we had no issues (apart from a youths football team who were staying here at the time and they were up to tricks of pressing your room buzzer and running away) All in all, we would return if we came back to Los Pocillos. It’s our last day of an 11n stay in two sea view rooms. It’s been such a lovely relaxing holiday. Pool area clean with plenty of sunbeds & no need to reserve. Staff are very friendly, helpful and good humoured. Warm welcome at reception. Little extras such as water in the rooms, decent drinks at the bar & restaurants, pool bar snacks freshly made to order (not a buffet), which is great as less wastage. Maid service daily. Rooms spotless, largest we’ve had and huge balcony. We have two teens with us and the animation isn’t as varied as some hotels, it’s much quieter/low key. Entertainment- guitar craig was fab, as was a female singer. Bingo a bit of fun but might be better for cash! Waiters / kitchen staff worked tirelessly and very long hours. The food was fresh, varied, local and delicious. We would definitely return. Location wise you are located between PDC and Matagorda, so it’s a walk or taxi either way, we like a walk and it’s pretty flat. We ate out a few times, the best meal was a wee Italian by Spoons pub. We didn’t enjoy the Roadside Grill close by as the service was slow and food not up to quality, hotel was much better!!! Taxi to PDC is 5 euro. Safe costs extra plus deposit. Loved our seaview room and was close to beach as there is separate exits at the bottom end of the hotel so that’s great when using the supermarkets and going in the sea. The beach is vast and empty. Thank you to all the staff and fellow guests who made our stay so enjoyable! We booked our holiday through Barrhead Travel in the Uk and was the best price compared to other companies.

We’ve been here for 6 nights b&b, can’t fault the hotel at all. The drinks are so cheap, plenty of sunbeds at any time of the day and the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. I was worried after reading some reviews prior to coming but I didn’t need to worry. They even left a gift in the room for my boyfriend’s birthday. It’s been a great holiday, thank you.

Stayed at this wonderful greatly located hotel recently. Breakfast was great fresh omelette and fried eggs made and so much choice on offer. The restaurant staff work so hard and the standard of food is high quality and the same for Dinner so much Choice for meat eaters and the salad and deserts were great. Staff on reception nice and friendly and helped with booking day trips. Walking distance to purto de carmen such nice lovely walk nice wide pavement and so clean and tidy. A nice relaxing stay by far really lovely time had in Lanzarote

We had a great week in Lanzarote last week. This hotel was just right for what we needed. It is very clean and tidy. The room was a good size. At first I was a bit disappointed as we had a room facing out of the hotel on to the gardens/road but it actually turned out fine. Room 1112 .The balcony got a lot of sun all day long and it was quiet and private. No hotel /pool noise. The breakfast was excellent, so much choice. We didn't stay all inclusive and I am glad we didn't. I wouldn't want to have to eat all meals in the same place. There were lots of sunbeds available around the pool area but if you wanted sunbeds on your private balcony you had to pay extra. It was 3 Euros per bed per day. We decided not to bother. You do get a table and chairs on your balcony (no extra charge). The resort is nice and clean too, plenty of bars & restaurants to choose from. The weather was good but it is still a little cool in the evenings. Lanzarote is also quite windy, but sometimes a breeze is nice when its hot.

Just finishing up a weekend away with friends. Our first time in Lanzarote. The hotel and location were absolutely first class and a real tonic for the miserable cold weather in the UK. Stayed bed and breakfast. Food good and hotel spotlessly clean and staff obviously work hard. Had a sea view room (1313) which was an upgrade to a suite. Weather fantastic never below 20 degrees and loads of bars and restaurants nearby. Would def return. Thank you !
