Very nice hotel. I think that we had one of the best rooms with a turret overlooking the lake. The spa and indoor pool are fabulous. There is a huge breakfast buffet with everything you could want. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious. There was a medical conference on when we arrived- possibly optical staff? I did find it a little disconcerting that many of the delegates used the pool area to access a terrace leaving the door open so that the pool area became cold. Is there another access they could have used? We left the hotel at 5 am for an early flight. In our rush I left both of my swimming costumes in the bathroom where I had hung them to dry. I emailed the hotel and asked them to send them to our hotel in Buenos Aires to which we would be arriving 8 days later. I said that I would pay shipping costs. They did not respond to my email which was disappointing especially as one of the swimming costumes had been quite expensive. The email I used was the one on the hotel website. I would recommend the hotel for everything except their response to email.

Stayed here for 3 nights in October, the room is clean but a bit dark and dated. Limited places to plug anything in. Central heating was on and made the room very warm, but could be turned off. No air con but not needed at this time of year. Toiletries were available in the bathroom. There’s a minibar fridge which you can put your own drinks in. We used the spa on one of the days which was a nice area. There’s also a pool table and table tennis table which are free to use. Staff were very helpful with excellent English. Very near to Nene which was one of our best meals in Argentina. Great view of the lake from the bedroom.

The location is great; short walk to town but away from the hubbub. Public spaces are nice. Beautiful views from rooms facing the lake. Adequate breakfast. Biggest complaint was the lack of attention to requests by the staff. Narrow slippery bath/shower; I asked for a bath mat twice but never got one. A lightbulb in my room burnt out so I asked for a new one. I was asked whether I was sure. Turns out the lamp needed replacing. One of the window shades (very large) was inoperable and was coming loose from the wall. Staff was completely non-responsive to any of my requests until my husband and our tour leader complained. Hmmm.

A deceptively large hotel in a good location, overlooking the lake, and near local shops. The restaurant menu is only via QR code and the restaurant doesn’t serve informal food . That’s in the bar. We had burgers in the bar, which were very nice. The WiFi is terrible all over the hotel. Our bedroom had a flashing booster (which I had to cover at night !) and still no WiFi in the room. Pillows a bit bulky and uncomfortable. Two lamps in our room didn’t work - one flashed dangerously but when I reported this to a member of staff, she didn’t seem concerned and didn’t take a note. Lovely views over the lake from a sunny terrace. Not a bad hotel but they could improve WiFi .

We stayed here overnight because we had an early flight to catch from Bariloche to Iguassu and thought it would provide a good base. The hotel has direct views of Lago Nahuel Huapi and beach access. It is set slightly away from the centre of the town, but there are plenty of restaurant and cafe choices nearby. We decided, however, to eat at the hotel restaurant, in order to have an early night, and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. Staff were friendly, efficient and eager to assist. The only downside was lack of airconditioning in our room, but of course it's rarely required in Lake District except on unusually hot days.

The room was clean and well laid out. The lake outside is a great plus. The staff were friendly and helpful, although advice on local activities was hard to get. Pool temperature felt very comfortable. You are close to the main town, so walking distance. You need to think about going anywhere to walk or hike more or less by taxi or Uber, which both work fine. Best aspect was the restaurant, which was distinguished and the pianist playing below over dinner was a nice touch.

Lovely hotel with great views over the lake. The pool is warm and again overlooks the lake. Breakfast was good ( no egg station) but everything else was there. There is a table tennis and pool table. Staff were very helpful. It is quite away out of town but walkable in about 15 mins. But very near the chocolate factory!

This is a unique property and is modern and rustic at the same time. It is in a quiet location on the edge of town but town is still very walkable. There is a very large indoor pool and hot tub. The breakfast buffet was quite good. The view rooms are very special. We really liked this property.
