In Junvay hotel beautiful flower garden. Staff was kind and helpful, rooms clean, and spacious with small balcony. Walking distance to plaza, Junvay’s restaurant served excellent food. Great price for stay. Only negative is NEEDS NEW TOWELS. and 2 bottles of water instead of one. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. We will come back!

Hotel Junvay is a place I just don't understand. We had a lovely room with a tiny balcony (good to have a smoke, not to sit) at the back of the flowering courtyard, we were brought a heater when the weather turned cold, we had a kettle and a fridge, the shower was roomy, the street was quiet yet conveniently one block from the pedestrian street, shops and markets and restaurants all convenient and close, and most of the week we were there the hotel was empty. Some nights we were the only guests. It's true that Junvay is a bit classier than most places we usually stay. Many travellers we met in SCDC stayed in hostels, ok, I get that, others stayed in more expensive hotels closer to the "cooler" pedestrian street, but for us that street was only a 5-7-minute walk. My suggestion? Be a smart traveller, stay here!!

Clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ok, slow service. If you come back after 10pm, you have to ring the bell and wait to get in. One small water bottle for two people each day. Shower was great, good water pressure and hot water. It gets chilly at night, warm blanket on the bed.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The location is ideal, the staff super friendly and the room very clean. It was definitely my favorite hotel throughout our Chiapas trip. The hotel is also super quiet at night which is a huge plus.

Hotel Junvay is an absolutely lovely hotel! Everything was just wonderful! From the modern, large, comfortable rooms to the delicious food at the on-site cafe- we enjoyed it all very much! We had stayed a 2 other hotels in San Cristalbol- not by choice- the road to Comitan had a blackade so we were not able to go to the other parts of Chiapas as we had planned. Having to stay an extended period in San Cristalbol was an enjoyable experience and Hotel Junvay made it even better! It was the best hotel of our stay there! Would definitely recommend Hotel Junvay for a lovely hotel in San Cristóbal!

Me encanto el lugar, las habitaciones son cómodas y acogedoras. Las almohadas son magníficas. Me gusta. Lo único que a mi punto de vista no estoy acostumbrado es a los baños sin puerta en el área de regadera, salpica mucha agua, el piso de vuelve inseguro y sobre todo incomodo de pisar en agua. Fuera de eso regresaría sin dudarlo. Ojalá pudieran tomar en cuenta. Saludos

Lindo con buena ubicación pero desgraciadamente se escucha tooooodo todo, demasiado ruido, los pasos en el techo suenan horrible, la madera cruje y tenía goteras, así que todas nuestras cosas se mojaban. Fue muy difícil poder dormir en una habitación así.
