Kadangyan by 3BU Hostel

The hostel is quite remote, which in itself wouldn't be a problem – however, several serious shortcomings make it a less than restful place to stay. Although the reception states that a 10 p.m. quiet time is enforced, neither the staff nor the guests adhere to this. TikTok videos and movies play loudly in the lobby until late into the night, which is particularly annoying since many rooms have windows facing the lobby. These are poorly insulated, allowing both heat and noise to penetrate the rooms unhindered. Restful sleep is therefore almost impossible. The cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired: The bathrooms were dirty during our stay, and there is no housekeeping service. Only two regular bath towels were provided for two people – no additional towels or a cloth for the wet floor before the shower. Another major drawback was the pool, which was also unkempt and dirty – making it uninviting to use. Overall, the stay was very disappointing. Due to the noise pollution, poor sleep quality, poor hygiene, and dirty pool, I unfortunately cannot recommend this hostel.
