I booked a room with 3 beds and made good use of it.^^
The location is really good as there is a Korean market right in front and restaurants are nearby. However, the hotel was so old and worn that there was so much dust in the room that it made me sneeze a lot.

The check in went well and accommodated me arriving early. The property and surrounding g neighborhood are older but the place is kept clean for its age and my room on the 5th floor was clean as well. Free parking for my vehicle was the main reason I chose here and will stay for work again in the future if needed

This gem of a hotel scores 8 out of 8 in all the relevant categories, especially location and price. You won't find a better value for the money. If you want the scale to include up to 10, there are many dozens of hotels in San Francisco that will gladly charge you 3 or 4 times more than Royal Pacific for that privilege - with many getting you a 6 or 7 out of 10 for your money (I know, I've stayed in most of them)!

Very nice staff. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is centrally located, making it a great location for walking distance tours of the main SF tourist sites and attractions. A big plus is a free parking on the premises, which is also closely monitored by the staff, accessible only in front of the reception, so fairly secure.

third time staying there, great location and value and can even safely keep your car there, which is very rare in sf. staff is nice and theres a security guard at night on premises. this hotel punches way above its weight

Awesome location right in the middle of North Beach/Chinatown. Dozens of great restaurants within a few blocks. Parking was good, and room was well-appointed. We really enjoyed the oversized, hot, powerful shower. Only negative was the walls were paper-thin, and our neighbors were talking loudly well into the night, which was disruptive. Bring a white noise machine or something, if you are a light sleeper.
