Old San Juan Rentals

My room had a lot cockroaches especially inside the couch and under the sink. I’ve called the front desk and they ingnored me, all of us 4 people had to sleep in same bed due were not able to sleep in the sofa bed.

Nice stay and amenities. Location was great too. Two concerns: air conditioning in the living room didn’t cool well and the air conditioning in the master bedroom was really noisy as if it were about to go out. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and appliances (big and small). Showers were spacious (water was lukewarm) Beds were on slacks so be cautious when sitting on the bed. They were comfortable. Tv had multiple channels and apps. Grateful that the access to the upper rooms had an elevator as opposed to some places nearby that only had stairs. Check-in and check out were seamless. The hosts responded to questions promptly via call or email. Was a good stay with minor issues. I would stay here again.

Very nice property. Easily walkable to restaurants and coffee shops and sightseeing. The property is located a block from the governor’s mansion. There are police guards literally right outside your door around the clock, so it is extremely safe. The parking lot is located about a 10 minute walk away. It was surprisingly very reasonably priced. The property is right downtown, so the noise from the street can be loud if your bedroom is right at the balcony. Was not much of an issue. Slept very well. Very clean property. Located right above a delicious gelato shop. Definitely try it. :) The owners always responded quickly. Would rent again for sure.

We have stayed in Puerto Rico multiple times, but this was one of our favorite places so far. The location is absolutely perfect for walking around Old San Juan, eating, and parking our rental car. The parking garage is a couple hundred feet down the hill and my favorite pizza restaurant is a couple hundred feet up the hill. The apartment is very spacious and having a washer and dryer is so helpful since we swim so often. Even though we didn’t use the kitchen much, it’s so nice to have. This apartment even had a small outdoor space attached. The furniture is not in perfect condition (one chair had a bent leg, the couch had a couple holes, amd some chairs had wear) but everything else was so perfect that it didn’t matter. We would absolutely stay in this apartment again and we would one hundred perfect recommend it.

They had construction the whole time we was there. Every morning a 7am wake up call by tools. No one warned us of anything other than that everything was walking distance and there was a lot of space in the apt.

For the price there are better options The location was great, right in the heart of Old San Juan. A few of things stood out as detractors. The bathroom had no counter and no place to hang towels. It was inconvenient to use due to this basic lack. There are a couple of long term drips in the bathroom ceiling, and one of them was right where it dripped on you as you were using the toilet. The furniture overall was is a little disrepair. The chrome was deteriorated and the veneer peeling. But the Big hassle was that the property required a picture of your credit card prior to arrival. Feels like a huge unnecessary security risk.
