Awesome Hotel

Very friendly staffs. The day we stayed they had the band and free cocktails. The only downside was the room aircon, not so cold, same as a review I read somewhere. The buffet breakfast was super sulit! The hotel was fully booked and after prodding finally gave in to my request if we can bring the breakfast plate to my daughter in the room who could not go down because she was dizzy and had fever. Value for money. Will definitely go back

The amenities like the pool and the beachfront are the good thing about this hotel. Not too crowded when we had our stay. They have very accommodating and courteous staffs and the vicinity is kept clean and comfortable. They are enough spaces to spend good time with the family and friends. We had the premier room and it was very comfortable with a pool view. The one facing the shore would have had a fascinating view of the sunset and the shore. The price is higher than the ones around it but was reasonable if traveling is big groups.

Very friendly staff and their hotel is more affordable than the last one we tried. The location though is more than 5km away from restaurants. Their food was not that great and a bit pricey. But great pool! Clean place! They have 1 resto only, cafe and a bar. Beach was good enough but have to watch out for jelly fish lol.

awesome escape from the city!

I was searching best hotels in La Union and I saw this Awesome hotel has ratings of 4 stars. When we came in we got a good impression from the people by the door and amused by the huge pool and front beach. When we checked in the hotel room it’s nice but only 1 bathroom. Imagine that we are family of 6 and using only 1 bathroom it’s such a hassle because we have to go down all the way to the lobby from our room. The TV was not a smart TV so we cant have any much entertainment. (Which is crazy) because hotels should have an entertainment or something to watch. If it’s not Smart TV atleast something available to rent so we can watch. I called an IT guy they came in and couldn’t do much. They said “wait and be right back” but they never came back to fix the TV. It’s very expensive for 2 nights costs Php 33,000 FYI I dont mind paying that much but the cost is not worth the price of the quality of this hotel. I paid for 5 nights in Boracay for only Php 100,000. and thats 2 rooms already in Hennan Palm Beach garden (which is also a 4-5 star hotel). Awesome Buffet also is not that good. I dont like waisting food but even a little bit portion we got on our plate, we can’t even finish it because IT’S NOT THAT GOOD. My expectations from this hotel was so high and it’s such a disappointment that it wasn’t the same as i thought. The housekeeping also didn’t refill the amenities as we check in. So we thought they didn’t inspect our room :/ the only thing we love here is the pool and the beach and that’s not enough to be worth the price of 33,000 because we also looking for the quality of service which it doesn’t have one.

This property is only a few years old and quite modern. It's a great place to stay over if you are on a long journey & need a place to refresh & recharge. They have several rooms to choose from. The Premier Family Room is a good choice for a big family. It includes 2 queen beds & a separate bedroom area with 2 twins & has a pool view & partial beach view from your very own balcony which has a nice seating area where you can also lay your swim suits out to dry. The bathroom has a great shower, extra towels, wash line and includes shower essentials & toothbrushes & toothpaste for 6 guests. The room is equipped with a safe, hot water kettle, coffee, tea, clothes hangers, medium sized fridge and a TV. There are multiple outlets throughout the room to charge your devices. There's also an easy access water dispenser located on each floor which is really handy to refill water bottles. (TIP- the fridge light can be turned off without shutting off the fridge. So you don't have to sleep with the light on. Also, outside food & drinks are not permitted.) A/C and fans work great. You just have to remember to hit the restart button each time you open the balcony doors because it will automatically shutoff the A/C. Downstairs, you'll find a gift shop with snacks, drinks, flipflops, swimsuits & souvenirs, etc. Be sure to try the coffee shop in the lobby that has a wide variety of drinks and pastries... you can even sit out by the pool or the beach to enjoy your snack. When you check in, you'll be provided with towel cards for the pool. However, if you lose the cards, you'll be charged for the cost of the pool towels. There's a restaurant on site with a large menu offering, but it's a bit pricey. There are other restaurants in walking distance that are worthwhile. BTW, there's an advantage to booking directly with the hotel because you can book a room that includes breakfast or you can apply your senior citizen discount card if you have one. I booked mine online with a travel site because I could not get through to the hotel via phone (no answer) or email (no response). There's a lot of staff here but they seem quite slow to respond. For example, I ordered something to eat at the pool & 25 minutes later, they informed me that the item was not available. (This is after I waited about the same amount of time to get served.) There are call bells on the table to contact your server, but they're but very responsive. The staff is all lovely & very polite..just slow. You cannot make outgoing calls from your hotel room using the hotel phone. Wifi is available throughout the property. The hotel is quite popular in the community & frequently hosts conferences & groups so the beach area by the pool can get quite busy and loud at night. You can't beat the location though! This was not our first choice when we planned the trip because of the bigger waves at hindi swimmable yung beach as others say, but it’s way, way better than that in San Fernando! This is indeed a 4-star hotel! 👍 👍 👍 👍 The beach is cleaner and safe to walk kahit bigger waves. But of course, mag-ingat pa rin kasi malakas talaga yung current. We had a smooth checkin and everyone had a great time right away! 🙂 We love the spacious room, it’s cleanliness, good water pressure in the bathroom, plus those digital toilets hahaha! and even the food was great! 😀 Grateful the chef made a special meal for my son's favorites: nilaga and tinola. Sarap! The pool is not heated but there’s a small jacuzzi area for those tito/tita/lolo/lola haha! Bitin kami so we’ll definitely go back!

Beautiful hotel on the beach with a large swimming pool. The beach is nice and clean and very walkable to nearby bars and restaurants. The staff here is friendly and do their best to make your stay enjoyable. Our room was large and very clean and the beds were very comfortable.
