Coqui Del Mar is a magical place if you were ever in search for Armistead Maupin’s “28 Barbary Ln., San Francisco“ you found it here in San Juan Puerto Rico. Rob and Vianney are amazing hosts. They remind me of Anna Madrigal, whose 420 friendly guest house is incredible. Their staff: Izzy’s hard work and whose Je ne se quois, has the ability to make you feel so special. Juan, Kevin, and Pedro, are hard workers, as well as, impeccable chefs. From the breakfasts/ brunches, to the barbecues, to the cooking demonstration on Monday night, you can taste the love they have for Puerto Rican food. Lorindinna whose passion of Puerto Rico (the places to check out, and the local delicacies) radiate through out her body. She gets so excited, and makes you feel like you’re already there tasting the food she’s described. The place is eclectic, and you can feel the love, and the guests feel like neighbors/ family.

A beautiful and discreet location that was perfect for our weekend getaway to Puerto Rico. Located minutes from the historical sites of San Juan. While we were not able to participate in all of them, there were plenty of activities and fun to be had for all.

The staff is over the top here. They are there to make sure you have a great stay. The facilities are welcoming and have everything needed for a great stay. The brunches, breakfast and communal areas are great for meeting other travelers and making friends.

Stayed 5 nights in this exceptional place. Rob (owner) made me feel at ease for giving a tour on my check - in day. It was informational as he explained to me the san juan area and what things and places i can explore. It was my first time to do solo travel in a caribbean area and this place makes my stay more feel like safe and comfortable. Issy and thig make sure that we have everything we need. Kevin(chef) made a stunning home-cooked brunch on weekend and his hummus is a must try. I stayed in twin room, it was comfortable and budget friendly. If you are lucky to find availability, explore their fabulous rooms because they have different themes which is co cool and it is really a massive room. I met a lot of awesome and beautiful people along the way because of this place. Their BBQ Saturday party is a must try cuz it was an awesome experience. Dont forget to enjoy and relax by the pool and soaked yourself with other guys in their massive jacuzzi. Overall, i cant thank enough Rob and His husband for letting me stay in the wonderful place. This place is worth your money! You wont regret booking this place! Dont forget to book a massage with jonathan️‍

Sadly I only stayed one night and should have stayed two or three nights. It is a place that feels like home everyone seems connected in community together. I felt safe, free to be myself and like I belonged. The room was clean and comfortable and you really don't stay there long in the room as the public space is the living room of the guest house with everyone hanging and chatting together by the pool or hut tub or roof top deck area. The hospitality was incredible and they really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and part of the family. I never felt like I was a nuisance and from the moment I stepped in the gate I was made to feel important and like I mattered. The owners hang out with you and you get to know them. The staff and managers treat you like friends and it is the safest place to be your true authentic self while enjoying the tropical life of Puerto Rico. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place and I can't wait to return. Tim

I loved my short stay at Coquí del Mar. the staff were so helpful. I thought I would venture out but ended up spend g most of my time in the property chatting with new friends in the pool. The brunch was just incredible and the Saturday afternoon barbecue food was delicious. Tried some local produce like malanga, yautia and quenepa. The purple room was basic, but comfortable, perfect for my short stay. I might try a larger room in my next visit, which will be longer than just a weekend. Clothing optional pool area but no pressure. Plenty of guests kept their suits on. So if that’s a concern, it needn’t be.
