The front desk was super nice and recommended some nice hiking spots in the area. Parking and Location were both super convenient

This is a modest old motel which is perfectly fine for a short stay because the location is EXCELLENT--literally a 3 minute walk to the Santa Cruz Wharf and to cafes and 5 minutes to the Boardwalk. We also loved the free parking as we didn't have to move the car for two days--which was a big point in making our trip so relaxing. Our room also had a great view of the water and palm trees. Yes, the rooms are showing their age, but we also had a microwave and refrigerator and bit TV and lots of hot water. What more could we want! Bonus points for Las Palmas Tacos across the street with great Mexican food for breakfast and lunch.

The staff are extremely nice, it is less than a block from the warf, and it has free parking. They don’t have coffee or continental breakfast, but there’s great coffee and pastries at the Picnic Basket just around the corner, as well as other places nearby.

Friendly staff. Clean room. Great location. A few things would have made it so much better- simple hooks to hang clothes in the bathroom or vanity area, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash dispensers in the shower, higher quality towels, and COFFEE anywhere  in the room or even in the office.  I’d likely not stay here again as others in the area are similar priced and have better amenities.

It’s close to the wallboard and the beach but downtown is just a few minutes walk away so it’s basically the perfect spot. I felt safe even if I was a woman and alone

I've stayed in the smallest motel I've ever been to; it was terrible value for money.
