Amazing spa access, superb location in the town center, 6 mins walk to train station + 3 mins walk to restaurants row and it's the nearest town next to Portofino. Stayed there for 4 days, 3 nights....the most amazing thing is the Spa access, that even though apart from the fact steam room was out of order. Don't forget to check out all the buttons in the warm 31 degrees swimming pool. Love the super hot and cold bath plus the sauna...as a family, we've really enjoyed the Spa right at the end of the day. Staff was really friendly and helpful in general, makes us feel like home away from home. Breakfast was great especially it's in a glass room, however it's even better if they would consider changing their daily varieties for guests who stay there for a couple of days especially. We really appreciate the special upgrade and spa arrangement for our boy. Bravo to everyone!

We stayed here for two nights of our honeymoon and would most definitely stay here again. Guest services were fantastic and helpful and would go out of their way to recommend local restaurants off the beaten path as well as make our reservations each night resulting in a little extra special treatment when we arrived at the restaurants. 10 out of 10!

We had booked a room with a balcony and a city room and walk in shower. On arrival we were shown a room on street level with no balcony and a barred window right on the road. On speaking with reception we were told not all rooms in this category had balconies and this was not guaranteed. We were shown 2 additional rooms and we paid an upgrade fee for a larger room with a window we could open. Unfortunately i did not inspect the bathroom as the shower was full of dirt and mould. The reception said she would tell the manager. Next morning i asked to speak with the General Manager who claimed the original room was the only room with a walkin shower which was not true as reception had already showed up 3 rooms with the required showers. On showing pictures of the shower he did acknowledge this was unacceptable however did nothing. The Manager did ask me to send him evidence of my issues however i did not do so as his attitude was so condescending and dismissive. Breakfast was good however again the cloths on the buffet had not been change for what appeared some time. This is a great location and hotel however be careful what you book is what you receive and check the room before accepting.

This was our last night before returning home and it was a wonderful hotel. This hotel was reasonably priced. Even taking taxis to Portofino we were able to live better at a lower price than staying in Portofino. In fact, we enjoyed the City of Santa Marguerita way better than Portofino. The room was large and well done. Breakfast the next morning was very nice with lots to offer. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would go back to this hotel if we returned to Santa Marguerita.

Really great to be so close to the sea and the main piazza but have a quiet, peaceful place. My only negative is that my booking said it included access to the pool, but because of the language used it was a miscommunication and that was not true. You will have to pay 25 euro a day to use the pool even if your booking says “rate includes spa”

Great location in the centre of town, with short walk to beach and restaurants. Room was small with very little clothes storage. Bed was uncomfortable. Staff very helpful

We very much enjoyed our stay. The complimentary breakfast was amazing- a huge spread of beautiful fruit and pastries and freshly made cappuccino or whatever morning drink you desired. The Meditteraneo is in a great location to the train station and walking distance to the center of Santa Margherita! The staff were very polite, professional and helpful!
