Perfect hotel. We love the room and service is wonderful.

I hope everyone will not step on the thunder. The rooms of 5,000 or 6,000 yuan are of the same quality as those of express hotels. The information on the platform is seriously inconsistent with the actual situation.

Needless to say, the design is amazing and I can’t find any faults. The materials and quality of items in the lobby and rooms are all online. Unfortunately, there are too many people in the public areas. At 11am, there are not even empty seats in the coffee area. Locals come here to socialize, and taking photos would be too awkward to pick up your phone.

The room is very small for the price. It is true that Kelly Westlar's design is very beautiful and every detail is full of care. However, it is more experienced in the public areas and restaurants. It is recommended that you go to dine to experience the designer's skills. Personally, I don't think it is necessary.

It's very close to Santa Monica Beach, which is perfect for filming scenes! The service is very attentive, highly recommended! Many celebrities will go near the hotel!

The environment is average. The rooftop upstairs is nice.

Stayed in a room that had an outdoor corridor - front door was warped (wood peeing off on bottom of door). Door also needed to be pulled hard for it to shut tight. No slippers were provided. Nice having a coffee machine but no tea was offered. Staff at front desk seemed very young and not as experienced as I was expecting from a 5 star hotel. Unlikely to stay there again

We travel quite a bit and I think this might be the best hotel we've stayed in in the US Very friendly and attentive staff, tons of amenities in the room, great location, and the food at the restaurant on the rooftop was excellent as well.

It is very unpleasant to stay here. Considering the price, it isn't valuable to stay in. They charged many different taxes in addition the hotel charged $40 per night for the amenities although we didn't used any amenities. The room wasn't spacious. The layout was uncomfortable.While we stayed the hotel there was their union strike for days from 7am to 8pm. It was unbearably noisy.

The Proper Hotel is a beautiful hotel located in a great central location in Santa Monica. The beach is about a 7-10 minute walk, with easy access to great restaurants and shopping. All staff were wonderful and friendly. We stayed here with our kids and they loved the beautiful rooftop (heated) pool and in house restaurants. We would have definitely loved to stay longer!
