No service! The front desk business ability is too poor! Without professionalism, it is worse than a three-star hotel. There was a constant sound of water leaking when I slept at night, and the sound insulation was poor. Very very bad experience. Highly not recommended.

We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and brought our 3 year old with us. We had the most wonderful experience! The property and location could not be more beautiful. We walked down to the beach and were lucky to have beautiful weather while we were there. Akeem was wonderful to communicate with while planning our trip and made sure our accommodations were perfect for us. The room we stayed in had a pool view on one side with the cutest swinging bench outside that we loved, and the other side faced directly to the beach so we enjoyed the sunset view each night. Everything we ate there at the restaurant / room service was INCREDIBLY delicious & fresh, and all of the staff were extremely welcoming. We are already trying to plan our next trip back!

Great customer service, exquisitely appointed, stylish room, gourmet locally sourced food, relaxed, beautiful, Southern California cool visit. Super current and clean. Comfortable furniture with style. The friendly and professional staff make a difference, from the moment you arrive to departure. Short walk into the heart of Santa Monica.

Dan, Dave, and their entire team were fantastic. Our family loves this property. Everything is perfect and a relaxing stay always! Steps from the beach and great bars/restaurants. When you are here you feel like you live at the beach. Recommend to anyone.

Very interesting proposition… You pay full price expecting a luxury boutique hotel and what you get is a bar that is a mirage, no concierge, housekeeping that delivers consistently substandard cleaning, no minibar refill, a restaurant with very limited selection, a large room with a clutter of furniture including a library but very limited closet space - highlight was the valet service, many thanks to the very attentive and knowledgeable team. It was presented on par with Shutters - what a disappointment. Very misleading marketing and pictures of the property.

Everything at Hotel Oceana was beautiful. The staff was accommodating and so kind to us during our stay. The room was spacious and modern and the breakfast was great. Lenny and other doormen made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our honeymoon. We will be back!

I had the most relaxing and amazingly beautiful weekend at the Oceana Santa Monica. First, I have to say that I so appreciate how friendly and genuine all of the staff were. The hotel room felt more like a home and was so beautifully decorated. It had a living room with a library nook! The swing at the entrance to our room was so special. I appreciated all the little details that added up to an absolutely luxurious experience. The pool is heated and there was live music on Saturday. The food at the Sandpiper restaurant is so fresh and delicious. I had a very special weekend with my sister and will definitely be back!
