The room was really spacious and even had a small balcony with views of the courtyard and the distant scenery. The location is also great; just across the street, up some stairs, you'll find a local market and the old town. The entrance is a bit small though, so it's easy to walk right past it.

This hotel is located very close to the food market and along a main road. Our hotel room was located in a separate section of main hotel building and required stair access. A staff member assisted us with transporting luggage to the room. The hotel has secondary entrance that is located on a side lane, but the gradient is quite steep. The room had good ventilation and had enough sound proofing that we didn't hear too much noise from the pub nearby. Our room included small table and chair set on the terrace where we had views of the nearby park. The Cathedral was a 15 minute slow walk away and we were able to walk easily to the main train station with luggage (downhill route) for our onward journey.

To see the censer at Santiago Cathedral, my original hotel was sold out, so I booked this place. The hotel is across the street, uphill to the ancient market, and a few minutes further to the cathedral. The room I was given was a semi-basement suite at the very end. After putting my luggage away, I went for a walk. When I returned that night, I discovered the door wouldn't lock from the inside. There was nothing I could do, so I just had to... I've never stayed in such a terrible place. Forget it, I just stayed there for one night. The front desk service and breakfast were both excellent.

Another amazing stay experience. The hotel is great, full of manor character and history. Go up the steps diagonally opposite the hotel and walk for about 10 minutes to the cathedral, a market, a Michelin restaurant, etc. Highly recommended!

Conveniently located near shopping, bus line, Cathedral. Parking is an issue. Dripping water at night (leak above us? Condensation from A/C?) Roommate almost tripped on puddle on floor. Breakfast room was very pleasant and bright. Great variety of food and drink. Receptionist was friendly and stored our luggage while we toured the area before taking a train back to Madrid in the afternoon.
