beautiful building in a perfect setting but slow service and a very poor cup of coffee. the internal decor of the parador were sopt on but unable to provide a decent cup of coffee. as i say, disapointed.

Interesting building in perfect location. Generous food portions. It sometimes took quite a while to be served in the bar and some staff were a little sullen but Vanesa Noriega was very pleasant, helpful and smiling. We would recommend this parador, as indeed we would others. Very convenient car park. It would have been helpful if clear, precise driving instructions were made available prior to arrival. Perhaps sent out at the time of booking? Non Spanish drivers need a little bit more help as the road are unfamiliar.

Excepcional. Habíamos reservado una habitación normal y por un error de ellos terminaron compensándonos con una suite. Les dijimos que no era necesario, pero insistieron. La habitación era impresionante, con un estilo clásico precioso. El desayuno estupendo. Mi estancia fue el año pasado, pero quería hacer público mi agradecimiento

La habitación era un zulo, solo un ventanuco en el techo de medio metro y encima al llover por la noche el ruido era ensordecedor. El desayuno del nivel de un hostal, además de que dentro de la franja horaria no reponen y era de lo más escaso

Es un edificio antiguo muy bien remodelado con todos los servicios hoteleros y un gran restaurante con muy buena calidad de alimentos y tradición, con capacidad de atender a grupos grandes al mismo tiempo

Muy linda ciudad de Cantabria, muy antigua y cercana a las Cuevas de Altamira,muy turística, de paso por uno de los caminos de Santiago. Tiene bellas construcciones de piedra rodeado el pueblo de suaves colinas ,es una ciudad casi puramente dedicada al turismo

Pueblo precioso para visitar! Sus calles con encato medieval te atrapan. Recomiendo aparcar en el parking cerca de la Colegita de Santa Juliana y recorrer las hermosas calles. Productos típicos de la zona. Para comer recomiendo el Restaurante el Gran Duque.

Un pueblo muy bien cuidado, con encanto, zonas de restauración y estacionamientos de pago. Tiendas para comprar productos típicos de Cantábricos. Zona de recreo para niños en ponis. Todo rodeado de naturaleza. Casas rústicas y muy bien cuidadas

Estancia extraordinaria, todo limpio, en su sitio, super agradable. Lugar idílico. A poca distancia de las poblaciones a visitar, Comillas, suances, san vicente de la barquera y por supuesto Santander Repetiremos seguro.
