Quinta de Silvalde

We loved our experience. It was the best place to relax. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is great always ready to help. The rooms where really big and confortable. It was really clean. The locations is perfect to visit Braga, Santo Tirso and Guimarães.

We had an amazing weekend. The staff is spectacular and they provide with any help you need. We stayed at the panoramic suite and everything was perfect.

Excelent location, beautiful hotel, very friendly staff. The indoor pool was not in the proper water temperature to relax, was cool.

We stayed at Quinta de Silvalde as a couple for six nights and absolutely loved it. The place is just beautiful! The architecture really stands out, it’s modern but still super cosy thanks to the light colors and the use of wood. The mix of modern and traditional touches, like the visible granite walls, makes it feel really special. You can tell that every little detail was carefully thought out. We stayed in one of the suites and it was amazing, loads of space, beautiful natural light, and an incredible view. It’s the kind of room you can happily enjoy even on a rainy day. The food was a real highlight, every meal felt like fine dining, with a new menu every day. We also loved the indoor pool and spa, perfect for relaxing after exploring. A big thank you to the lovely staff for being so friendly and welcoming, especially Ana and Miguel, they really made our stay extra special. The location is great too, only about 30 minutes from Porto by car. The nearby town isn’t great for walking (no sidewalks), so a car is handy, but Bolt and Uber are cheap and easy if you don’t want to drive. Everything was spotless, from the rooms to the rest of the hotel. We honestly had the best time and would 100% come back!

We had an amazing time at Quinta de Silvalde. The place is beautiful, mixing modern style with traditional charm. The setting is calm and relaxing, perfect to disconnect. Both pools were fantastic: the outdoor one and the indoor with spa, hammam and jacuzzi. We also enjoyed a wonderful couple’s massage, one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel is both pet and kid friendly, which makes it very convenient for families. The food and beverage team, led by Miguel, was excellent; very professional but also warm and friendly. We really appreciated the half-board option: delicious Portuguese dishes with a modern twist, and the comfort of just sitting down and being taken care of. Breakfast was also lovely, with Sandra making every morning extra pleasant thanks to her kindness. Great value for money, honestly, it rivals many 5-star hotels but with a much more personal and genuine service. We would definitely love to come back!

It was an amazing family experience: room is just unique. Hotel staff is just so familiar, kindness and professionalism. If you have a problem they solved it inmediately with a smile. Spa and swimming pool is sooo good, the massage is truly amazing. We had a truly great experience.

The entire stay was amazing. The Casa was perfect. The staff couldn't do enough for you. The whole experience was very relaxing even with our 2 children and everyone there made them feel welcome too. Would recommend this hotel highly to couples or families.

Service, rooms, architecture, spa, pools, all wonderfully comes together for a special get-away. We will return with friends to try the small villas and to get to know the beautiful Santo Tirso, so close to the property and so history filled.
