Villa Galinia was a perfect stay for my husband and I! It’s in Akrotiri (opposite end of the island from the ever popular Oía) and close to all the swimmable beaches! It’s quieter and definitely a more local feel as opposed to Fira and Oía which are full of tourists and people.
We traveled to Fira and Oía and it took about 45 minutes in our rental car and was lovely to enjoy for the day! The staff at hotel Galinia were friendly, accommodating, and very kind and the hotel itself is beautiful with marble stairs and a gorgeous pool!

照片是在酒店陽台上拍的，方便看日出，酒店離燈塔不遠，但是必須自駕，島上不自駕去哪去不方便。酒店自己有個露天停車場，另外早餐也很好，不過我們趕早班飛機並沒有給我們打包早餐，第一天我們到得早，跟老闆説我們最後一天早上六點離開，能不能有空房先給我們開一下，直接拒絕要求下午兩點來，幸好租了車趕緊出去玩，不過下午一點回來還是幫辦了入住，總的來説還是不錯。

房間不大但是簡潔乾淨，比較舒適。院子裏有共用的泳池。有早餐，早餐做的很可口，尤其是蘋果派，果香濃郁，非常好吃。

This is a nice, small but clean and tidy hotel with a pool area that is a major plus in summer time. The best thing about it for us was the staff, especially Emi who was totally charming and helpful throughout our stay. We had to change the booking at short notice which was no bother. One of our rooms had faulty air con which they fixed quickly. Would recommend for the service.

We just stayed for one night on our return from island hopping. We often stay in Akrotiri, but this charming family run hotel was one of the best. The room was an excellent size and well equipped. Room to sunbathe around the pool at the front of the building. Breakfast and lunch the next day were all home cooked and tasty. There are facilities available for late departure and Dad took us to the airport. And thank you, Emi, for your help and assistance. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Santorini.

I wish I could rate this villa higher! We arrived early and were able to check in. This is the cleanest spot I've ever experienced on a vacation. The pool is beautiful, the views of the sea and coastline are perfect. Markets, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The "staff" are not really staff.....they are a family. Eli was so welcoming and friendly! They serve the best hot breakfast....something different every day. The wife/mom is an excellent cook. She also cooks dinner at their restaurant which is like having a home cooked meal.....soooooo good! Our room with a balcony was perfect. The bed was comfortable and maid service daily. If you like walking, the old town of Akrotiri is a nice downhill walk......the walk back uphill is a nice challenge as well. I have to mention their adorable dog Sissi.....amazingly friendly! Highest of recommendations.

Great views (recommend the upgrade to a room with caldera and/or sea view), comfortable room and friendly staff. Great location to base yourself in Santorini - you can see the entire island from Akrotiri, stunning in late afternoon/sunset light. You can pick up a quad from Ellinik next door - reliable agency and friendly owner. Minor points of improvement: pressure in the shower could be better, and perhaps fresh juices and a few more options for breakfast. Would happily stay there again!

Family hotel located in Akrotiri in the southwest of the Island of Santorini. We took a room overlooking the sea (with balcony). Impeccable cleanliness, quality bedding. Possibility of dining on site, very generous breakfast. Emy the manager is always smiling (as is her mother) and gives good advice for visits. You can rent vehicles right next to the hotel (quad, car) and dad can take a taxi to the airport. I highly recommend.
