Sheraton Sanya Haitang Bay Resort

I brought my child to register at Hainan University, and it was my first time in Sanya. I did a lot of research online, comparing several popular hotels in Haitang Bay one by one, and finally chose Sheraton. It turned out to be the right choice! This established five-star hotel excels in environment, service, and dining. The dinner buffet was amazing, and special shout-outs to Watermelon, our butler, and the young man at the breakfast restaurant for their exceptional service. Next time I'm in Hainan, I'll definitely stay at Sheraton again!

This hotel was great! I spent my first night at the Fairmont and then decided to switch things up and try a different hotel with nice public areas, which led me here. First off, a heads-up for couples who dislike noisy kids or those without children: you might want to reconsider coming here just for the public areas. I came at the end of August, after the summer holidays, so there weren't many kids around. The pools are amazing! The Sheraton beach isn't great, but the public areas are excellent. I wouldn't recommend this place for couples during the summer holidays, but if you have kids, it's a no-brainer – go for it! I saw mixed reviews online, but my experience was fantastic, with lots of activities for children, though not so much for me, the 'big kid' haha. The service was superb; they were always happy to help, which I loved. I'd also recommend the Fairmont again! It's genuinely perfect for a romantic getaway, and women will definitely love it.

Overall, it's pretty good. The multiple pools offer a great place for everyone to cool off and exercise. The green lawns, performances, and BBQ buffet attracted many guests, and the beach activities were also appealing.

The public areas boast lush coconut groves, creating a fantastic resort vibe. However, the room facilities are old and run-down, not even as comfortable as a budget hotel like Hanting or Home Inn. Upon entering, there was a musty smell. The bedside outlets didn't work, the shower drain was clogged causing water to seep out into the room, and the hairdryer was incredibly weak. The directions were also poor; staff said the beach was 300 meters away, but it was actually a winding walk of probably 1000 meters. The swimming pool lighting at night was dim and there were too few lifeguards, giving the impression that if an accident happened, rescue would be too late. Overall, 5 stars for the hardworking staff, but the room facilities don't even deserve 1 star.

The Sheraton Sanya Haitang Bay Resort was a fantastic experience! The hotel grounds are lush with coconut trees, creating a serene and beautiful environment. The private beach is clean, offering stunning ocean views. Our room was spacious and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and we could enjoy the sea view right from our balcony. The staff provided thoughtful and attentive service. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the multiple swimming pools were perfect for relaxation. They also have excellent facilities for families with children. Its convenient location makes it a top choice for a Haitang Bay vacation. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit.

The room exceeded my expectations with views of the garden and the sea. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety. A special shout-out to our butler, David Lin, who was incredibly responsive and efficient in handling our requests. His service attitude was excellent, and I was very satisfied.

The room was fantastic, with a marine theme. Over 100 square meters for just a little over 1000, which is incredible value for money. Definitely worth it! Our butler, Tu Dou, was also very responsible. Our child accidentally ate all the paid snacks from the fridge, and Tu Dou even helped us get them waived. 👍 Super impressed!

We were assigned a sea-view room on the 5th floor, which we were very happy with. The service response was also very quick. Compared to other hotels in the area, the facilities are a bit older, but it's still clean and hygienic. There's a lot of greenery and trees, so there were quite a few mosquitoes. Overall, it was much better than expected. The twin beds pushed together were quite large, which was convenient for the kids to sleep together.
