Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort

Came to Sanya for a vacation ~ This time I chose the well-established Mangrove Tree Resort. Overall, the experience was great! As soon as I entered, I added the butler Coral on WeChat ~ I could contact the butler for anything! The room was very large and cool, and they even upgraded us to a sea-view room! It was really a wonderful experience. They also offered free photography and many other free activities at the hotel. It's truly suitable for families with kids and elderly people on vacation. Plus, parking is convenient and dining is easy! I'll definitely come back to Mangrove Tree Resort if I have the chance next time. No regrets this time ~ Haha.

Far exceeded expectations! They even provided complimentary fruit and milk on the first day. The ocean-view room offered great value for money with an amazing field of vision—you could see the sea right from the balcony. Sitting outside at night was super breezy and comfortable, and you could hear people singing by the beach. During the National Day holiday, there was even a molten iron fireworks show (Da Tie Hua) which we could watch right from the balcony. The public areas are spacious with great landscaping and tons of coconut trees; it was so relaxing to grab a lounger by the beach in the afternoon and gaze at the sea. While taking a stroll, I passed by the Scarecrow Farm and was surprised to find quite a few cute small animals. There's a night market just a few hundred meters away, making dining out or ordering delivery very convenient. Our butler, Coral, was extremely thoughtful, warm, and attentive. We added each other on WeChat on the first day, and she would proactively check if we needed more bottled water. Her responses were always prompt. Highly satisfied!

Environment: The surroundings are truly fantastic, offering the strongest resort vibe among the nearby hotels. Service: We were given a room upgrade with a great view and scenery. We also had a butler named Bella—you can reach out to her for any hotel activities you'd like to join. Amenities: The facilities are a bit dated, but the room was free of any strange odors. The spaciousness of the Luxury Junior Suite is wonderful, truly a great choice for two people.

The hotel's room facilities are a bit dated, and the toilet is not a smart one. However, the hotel environment is very elegant with a strong tropical southern vibe—you could say the hotel itself is a scenic attraction. The service is also attentive; upon arrival, we added the hotel butler, Coral, on WeChat, and the proactive service was excellent. You can also dial 0 from the room phone, and customer service will gladly help resolve any requests or issues. The hotel is very popular and bustling, with many foreign guests (mostly from Eastern Europe and Russia, it seems). Especially at breakfast, there are so many foreigners in the restaurant that it feels like you've traveled abroad. I will probably stay at the Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort again next time I visit.

The room is a bit small, and the rooms on the second floor lack privacy, but it offers great value for money. The kids' play area is huge, featuring both indoor and outdoor sections. It's also very close to the beach with fine sand, making it a great spot for children to play in the water.

Our stay at the Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort was such a pleasant surprise! The hotel boasts prime, direct ocean views and features its own private beach and swimming pools. The white sand beach is equipped with lounge chairs, the restaurant options are diverse, and the surrounding commercial street has a well-established infrastructure. Our private butler, Jenny, was as thoughtful and caring as a sweet neighbor, looking after us meticulously throughout the stay. The overall experience was simply fantastic, and we were so satisfied that we decided to extend our stay by another night. Highly recommended!

The ocean view from the 3rd floor was slightly obstructed; you'd probably get a much better view on a higher floor. The hotel also offers plenty of family-friendly activities. It was a thoroughly enjoyable holiday, and both the baby and the elderly family members had a great time.
