Nanshan Hotel

Our room was on the first floor with an outdoor balcony, and we could see the Guanyin statue as soon as we opened the balcony door. Although the hotel has been open for some years and the facilities are a bit old, it's very clean and hygienic. The hotel shuttle service was free and took us directly to our room and the entrance of the Nanshan Scenic Area Guanyin statue. It was a great experience.

Staying within the scenic area, there's a shuttle bus that takes you directly to the entrance of the Nanhai Guanyin. This allows you to visit Guanyin before the large crowds arrive. From our room on the third floor, we had a direct view of Guanyin from the balcony, which was very satisfying. The only downsides were that the room and balcony glass doors weren't soundproof, and the toilet was a bit old, but these weren't major issues. I'd definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance.

I brought my parents to Hainan, and this was our first stop. Overall, we were very satisfied. The moment we stepped into the hotel lobby, we were awestruck by the Guanyin (Goddess of Mercy) statue view. Highly recommended. Room Facilities: The rooms are distributed among different 'houses.' The higher floors don't have elevators, but the tallest is only about three stories, which is acceptable. The room facilities have everything you'd expect, clean and hygienic, meeting all our needs. Transportation: Since the hotel is inside the park, you first need to take a taxi to the East Gate of the scenic area. At the gate, security will register your information and then contact the hotel's golf cart to pick you up, which is quite convenient. If you want to leave the park, just contact the front desk for an exit pass. Service: I mentioned to the front desk that I hoped for a room with a view of Guanyin for my parents, and they arranged it directly. Sitting on the balcony at night, looking at the illuminated Guanyin statue was quite breathtaking.

Nanshan Guesthouse is truly a godsend for families with kids! Staying right inside the scenic area means you can see the Nanhai Guanyin anytime, and the kids were so excited, clapping their hands when it lit up at night. The sister driving the shuttle cart was incredibly thoughtful. Being right next to the attractions, we could easily pop back to the hotel to rest when the little ones got tired. Not having to rush around with kids was an absolute lifesaver!

The lobby view is spectacular, offering a full view of the Guanyin Bodhisattva statue. The room balcony also offers a beautiful view with lush greenery and fresh air, perfect for sitting out and enjoying a cup of tea. It's incredibly relaxing. Breakfast is just average, don't expect too much, but this is already the best hotel in the scenic area.

The room facilities were excellent, providing a quiet escape despite being in a bustling area. The front desk staff, especially one lady, provided outstanding service with a perfect attitude and professional demeanor. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious! So many varieties to choose from.
