Pullman Sanya Yalong Bay Villas & Resort

After staying in countless hotels over the years, both good and bad, I never expected my first bad review to be for a hotel in Sanya. **Hygiene:** I understand the hotel is old, but the hygiene was absolutely terrible, I couldn't stand it. I genuinely feel like they didn't change the bedding. There were fleas on the bed and duvet, and I was bitten all over my legs. My husband was bitten too, thankfully our child wasn't. It wasn't mosquito bites; they were in patches and incredibly itchy, I couldn't stop scratching. I had to buy a lot of medicine because the itching was unbearable. We brought our own sheets, but used the hotel's duvet. The cotton in the duvet was clumpy, hard, and thin. I honestly can't believe a hotel costing over 2,000 yuan a night has such poor hygiene. We didn't experience anything like this at Le Méridien in Wanning. Truly disappointed. Don't come here.

Arrived at the hotel at the tail end of Chinese New Year. I spoke with Jane at the front desk and asked if an upgrade to a villa was possible to avoid the hassle of moving rooms later. Pullman's service and rooms are always reliable, and after checking the system, she thoughtfully arranged the upgrade for me. It was a pleasant surprise for the New Year, and I'm very grateful! 🙏 The hotel's service was also incredibly efficient. My daughter mentioned her dress was wrinkled and wanted to inquire about ironing service, and the hotel immediately sent ironing equipment to our room. It was so fast, it felt just like being at home.
