Manager Sun was our host, and their service was excellent. This hotel is located within the scenic area, and we took a shuttle bus up the mountain to our room. You can stay and play in the scenic area, and the views are beautiful. After seeing a lot of ocean views, the mountain and sea scenery felt really different. The room facilities are a bit old, but the Thai restaurant's food was very good.

1. The room facilities are outdated; the waterproof strip on the bathroom door fell off multiple times. 2. Mold was growing in the corners of the room. 3. The mahjong room and the barbecue area were closed, but we weren't informed. The three-day-two-night itinerary provided by the hotel also didn't include updated information. We arrived at the mahjong room only to find it closed, with no notice at the entrance and no staff around. After searching for a while, we were finally told it was closed for maintenance. On the day of checkout, the manager called to ask for feedback, which was a nice touch – at least they showed good attitude. We stayed in the Phoenix Pool Triple Villa, sharing a pool with another family. The view was still great, but the breakfast wasn't as good as it was ten years ago.

The rooms are still well-maintained, and cleaning is quick. Room service is also very fast, and the butler's responses are always prompt. Since it's quite a distance to get anywhere, we always had to call a car. To avoid more hassle, we tried not to call for service once we were back in the room. It takes over 10 minutes to drive from the lobby to the room. Besides this inconvenience, almost everything else was excellent. The food quality was superb, and any issues with the pool were resolved quickly. There are all sorts of small animals in the mountains, making it feel very rustic and relaxing.

A great place for a relaxing vacation, perfect if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel offers a different kind of beauty compared to a beachfront hotel. It's located right inside a scenic area and even includes the entrance ticket, making it excellent value for money.

I had high hopes, especially because of the swimming pool. When we arrived at the lobby entrance, we were driving ourselves. After we'd unloaded all our luggage, 4-5 staff members standing nearby didn't come over to help at all, which was really frustrating. Then, at the front desk, we were told our room wouldn't be ready for another half hour because housekeeping wasn't finished, and this was already 3 PM. I was with my child and my mom, so I asked if we could switch rooms. The young lady went to check, and a minute later, she came back saying the room was ready. Amazing efficiency, huh? 👍 I entered the room full of doubts, and the whole experience was terrible. The room smelled musty, and there were even geckos! The swimming pool was green and the facilities were outdated. This was the worst experience I've had staying in Sanya, hands down. Eating out or ordering takeout was incredibly inconvenient. I highly advise everyone to avoid this place. They claim electric carts are on-call, but you'll never see one in under 10 minutes.
