The Sanya EDITION

Room amenities: Dyson hairdryer, Le Labo toiletries, the room is very new. Hotel facilities: The family pool is perfect for kids, with a bubble party every day. The seawater pool is huge and great for a good swim! The public areas are stunning, with beautiful views at every turn. Family-friendly: The kids' play area is geared more towards younger children, but thankfully, there are plenty of activities. They proactively provided kids' toiletries and water guns. The sand play area is also very reassuring, no need to constantly watch the kids at the beach! They gave us bubble bath, flower petals, and coconuts! 🥥 Breakfast: Delicious Zhaopocu wontons and excellent coffee. Dinner buffet: My child had two bowls of beef noodles in one go! 😂 Service: Our butler Naiya was incredibly patient and went above and beyond. We encountered a typhoon and rain, and she proactively informed us about alternative activities. We'll definitely be back!

Two adults and one child stayed at The Sanya EDITION, and our 'Strolling with a Baby' trip ended perfectly! ✨ I have to commend our butler, Kitty, for her meticulous and thoughtful service. She was always available to help with any issues, making the entire experience fantastic. She arranged a bubble bath in our room in advance, which instantly thrilled my child. The daily afternoon pool bubble party was incredibly atmospheric, with bubbles everywhere; my child didn't want to leave. The multiple pool sections are well-designed and child-friendly, with shallow areas perfect for kids to play in. The hotel's private beach has soft sand, perfect for worry-free wave-splashing and sand-digging. There's no need to venture out; you can have a full day of fun right at the hotel. It's an ideal choice for a family getaway and perfectly suited for family travel.

This was my first stay at the Sanya EDITION, and it was a truly wonderful experience. My butler, Olivia, contacted me the day before check-in to ask about my needs. I mentioned I'd be arriving around noon and wanted to get into my room quickly so I could head to the gym. The next day, at check-in, the front desk had already prepared my room and even upgraded me to a high-floor sea view room. The resort has many facilities, and all the staff were very attentive. I'll definitely stay at the EDITION again next time I'm in Sanya.

I booked a 'Listening to the Sea' suite at the Sanya EDITION and overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay. The room was incredibly spacious, with comfortable divisions for the living room, bedroom, walk-in closet, and bathroom. The wooden decor also gave it a lovely resort feel, making for a very relaxing stay. Upon check-in, the welcome amenities were thoughtfully prepared, including fruit, champagne, and a handwritten welcome card. It felt quite special when I first entered the room. A special thanks to Cooper, who provided consistently patient service throughout my stay, responded promptly to my questions, and meticulously arranged many details. My dining experience was also excellent. The breakfast at the Pǔ restaurant offered a wide variety of options and the quality was consistently good. I also enjoyed the buffet hotpot at Pǔ in the evening; both the ingredients and taste were great. Even the in-room dining food exceeded my expectations. Overall, I was quite pleased with both the dining and accommodation. In summary, I had a very comfortable stay. The room, service, dining, and resort atmosphere were all top-notch. It definitely deserves a five-star rating.

The 'Sea-View Two-Bedroom Connecting Room' is actually a Sea-View Suite plus a standard Sea-View Room. With a small door connecting them, it becomes a two-bedroom connecting suite, perfect for a large family. It's more geared towards families with children (there's a kids' pool and playground downstairs). It's not a full sea view, and it's slightly closer to the Raffles side. Couples looking for a quiet getaway or a full sea view should probably look elsewhere; the 'Fashion Suite' might be a better option. It was extremely crowded during the summer. Initially, the guest services were very slow to respond and lacked enthusiasm. After speaking with the front desk, they assigned us to Abby, who was very responsive and quick to address everything. Because of the large crowds, two breakfast restaurants were opened. On the first day, we still had to wait for a table around 10:20 AM, but they didn't extend the dining hours, which led to many guests rushing their meals and having a less than ideal experience. I suggest, like other hotels, they could direct guests staying in villas or suites to a separate restaurant. This would greatly improve the experience.

Five stars to Butler Wutang Kele! They responded instantly to messages, handled everything efficiently and promptly, and took care of all sorts of big and small matters. Their service was genuinely warm and friendly, far from the robotic, assembly-line feel, showing attentiveness in every detail. Thanks to the thoughtful butler service, many troubles were avoided, and the stay far exceeded expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all future guests.

Facilities: The hotel's layout is clearly segmented with well-planned spaces. Even with what seems like high occupancy, it never feels crowded or noisy. The amenities are excellent; you can enjoy paddleboarding and kayaking for free in the artificial lagoon. It's perfectly suited for couples on vacation. Hygiene & Environment: Public areas are well-maintained, and room cleaning is meticulous. The overall aesthetic is pleasing, with a bamboo forest lobby and coconut grove pathways. It doesn't feel overly commercialized, giving it a serene and comfortable atmosphere. Service: The hotel's service reflects the restrained yet polite style of a high-end establishment. Staff aren't overly enthusiastic or intrusive but are very quick to respond. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, bellhops proactively helped with luggage, and the shuttle service was on-demand. Housekeeping and restaurant staff were gentle and patient, doing their best to accommodate extra small requests. Breakfast restaurant staff actively guided guests to seats and cleared plates. When we called the front desk with an issue, customer service quickly came to resolve it. The service strikes a perfect balance. Overall, this is a highly competitive resort in Haitang Bay. I highly recommend it to travelers who prioritize excellent facilities, cleanliness, a quiet environment, and consistent service.

Breakfast was just so-so, and the service was nothing special. I think they should provide welcome amenities for all guests. I've stayed at the Rosewood and St. Regis, and they always offer something nice like a straw bag or a straw hat. The EDITION is supposed to be even better than those two, so this is really disappointing.

The environment is quite good. There's staff at the entrance who require a room key or booking confirmation to enter, which provides good privacy. The buffet offers a wide variety of dishes and the taste is decent. Olivia, one of the staff members, provided excellent service. I usually stay at HUAZHU hotels, so this was my first time at such an expensive hotel. Overall, it was a good experience.
