InterContinental Hotels SANYA HAITANG BAY RESORT by IHG

Our vacation experience in Sanya this time was fantastic! The deluxe sea-view room we stayed in was absolutely incredible. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows faced the ocean directly, and we woke up gently to the sound of waves in the morning. In the evenings, we'd sit on the balcony, enjoying tea with the sea breeze, watching the sunset paint the ocean a beautiful pink and orange. It was so relaxing, we didn't want to move! The hotel environment was superb, boasting five swimming pools and a private beach with sand so fine it felt like walking on clouds. Our child had an absolute blast here, especially with the free mini-train rides available daily, which both adults and kids thoroughly enjoyed. This trip was delightful from start to finish, and we can't wait to come back!

Every time I visit, I stay at the InterContinental. It's close to the duty-free shop, quiet, and comfortable. The beach here is less crowded, unlike Sanya Bay. The rooms are spacious, and they respond quickly to any requests. Personally, I found the bed too soft and the pillows uncomfortable, but after requesting a latex pillow, it was much better. The room facilities are complete, the air conditioning works well, and the breakfast offers a rich variety.

The hotel is quite new overall, and the room and balcony are incredibly spacious. I absolutely love the InterContinental's extensive use of wood in its decor! The hotel's facilities and services are also top-notch. The breakfast is genuinely good, especially the various Hainanese noodles and Hainanese chicken rice, which are very tasty. The hotel's swimming pool, family activities, and diving club are also fantastic, and my child had a wonderful time. The only downside is that the low-floor room the front desk recommended, while indeed blocking the view of the large construction site next door, had a huge rain cover outside the balcony that obstructed more than half of the garden view. Rooms numbered 225+ really have terrible views. Regarding noise, although the construction noise during the day is quite loud, thankfully, the sound insulation in the room is excellent, so it didn't affect our rest.

The InterContinental in Haitang Bay offers an amazing experience! The beach is uncrowded and clean, and there are plenty of entertainment and activities to enjoy. It's only a 5-minute walk to the duty-free shop. On the beach, you can find beach buggies, jet skis, and even paragliding. I would definitely want to stay here again!

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's ambiance is elegant, the room was clean and comfortable, and the quality truly shines through in every detail. I particularly want to commend their in-house photography service. The photographer was professional and patient, excellent at guiding poses and capturing natural moments, making every corner of the hotel feel like a perfect photoshoot location. Furthermore, Kaylee's service was exceptional; she was always ready to help with any request. She definitely deserves a raise and a promotion!

Booked two rooms for two nights for a family trip. The InterContinental's lobby is grandly designed, and there are foreign singers performing in the afternoons and evenings, which really gives it a vacation vibe. The hotel's butler service is excellent; they're essentially on-call for whatever you need. The hotel environment is very comfortable, and choosing a higher floor room offers a more expansive view. There are plenty of children's activities, making it ideal for families traveling with kids.

Our butler, Yarra, provided exceptional service. The InterContinental was wonderfully peaceful with fewer crowds, and there was a dedicated通道 (private access) for duty-free shopping. A shuttle bus took us to the beach. For kids, there were activities like crab digging and a mini-train ride, which was free! The hotel rooms are very spacious, and the balcony bathtub was great for a relaxing soak. I recommend choosing a higher floor; room 803 offered a really good experience. I also loved the hotel's photography options; the outdoor scenery was fantastic. This is definitely my favorite hotel from my Sanya trip.

The room was spacious and very comfortable, giving off a true vacation vibe. The view was excellent, and the balcony was wide and bright with a very comfortable sofa. The service was attentive, and our butler, Bobby, was exceptionally good! He made my short stay so pleasant and worry-free! He responded to messages promptly and resolved issues quickly and efficiently! I've stayed at almost all the well-known good hotels in Sanya, ranging from 1k+ to 4k per night, and the InterContinental was a truly unexpected surprise! It offers incredibly high value for money! If I had to find a fault, it would be that the soundproofing from the hallway near the door was a bit lacking, but the bedding was so comfortable that I slept soundly until I naturally woke up!
