Absolutely Unforgettable Experience at MGM Sanya! Shoutout to Jelly from Guest Relations! Location: The hotel boasts a prime spot in Sanya Bay, with a private stretch of soft, white-sand beach. Just cross the street, and you're at the ocean—the sunsets are breathtaking! Facilities: Infinity pool + kids' water park + VR game zone—there's so much fun for both adults and children, you won't even want to step outside! Ambiance: Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, the resort vibe is totally on point. The live music at the lobby bar creates such a chill atmosphere, and every corner is Instagram-worthy! Cleanliness: The room was spotless, complete with disinfection seals on the bathtub. Even the towels on the beach chairs were folded into swan shapes—attention to detail that truly delights! Service: A special thanks to Jelly—she was incredibly responsive and made sure all our needs were met effortlessly.

The Lake View Suite offered a great view of Longtan Lake. Although a shuttle service was required for getting to and from the suite, it was always prompt and very convenient. Gina from Guest Services was exceptionally thoughtful; she arranged welcome fruit upon check-in, and our kids loved the room's setup and the cake Gina arranged for them. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable, and it was also kept quite clean. Overall, a great experience.

Third time here and we had a fantastic family holiday again! Location, beach, swimming pools and gardens are gorgeous and really well kept. We love the different pool options and the room with direct pool access is so convenient with kids. I agree with other reviews that rooms could use renovation, especially if they used to be smoking rooms, but daily cleaning is impeccable. The open air breakfast spot is lovely and breakfast choice is excellent, Chinese restaurant is also very good and provided such nice support to celebrate kid’s birthday. Derrick Liu was so helpful to address any concerns, everyone on staff is super friendly and goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Can wholeheartedly recommend!

First and foremost, a huge shout-out to Sasa! She's an incredibly thoughtful and warm young lady whose service was consistently responsive. We had a minor issue with our room at the beginning, but she promptly helped us resolve it. Knowing that packing with a child takes extra time, she even kindly extended our check-out, and our communication with her was incredibly efficient and smooth. She also surprised our child with a small cake. When a typhoon hit during our stay, she thoughtfully prepared fruits and desserts for us. She truly is a warm and lovely person! Next up, the hotel itself. Our suite was incredibly spacious and bright, and the private balcony was ideal for relaxing with a drink. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, keeping our room spotless, and they were always friendly and quick to respond. The kids' activities and pools are shared with Hualuxe, offering a rich variety of options, so we never had to worry about keeping our child entertained – they absolutely loved it! I've stayed at Hualuxe before, and if their rooms are fully booked but you still want access to these fantastic family activities and pools, this hotel is a superb alternative, especially considering its much more affordable price. We also experienced a typhoon during our visit, and it was truly reassuring to witness the hotel's professional and timely handling of the situation, which made us feel incredibly secure. I must also praise the concierge team. Their energy and spirit were outstanding. Among all the hotels I've stayed at in Sanya, while the amenities might not be the absolute best, I genuinely feel this hotel boasts the most vibrant and professional concierge staff. Every team member was impeccably dressed and efficient. The young gentleman who delivered our luggage on check-in day (who seemed fresh out of college) and the foreign staff member who assisted with our room change later both handled the luggage delivery with utmost professionalism and courtesy. The first young man, in particular, politely wished us a pleasant trip and happy stay before he left. These thoughtful details truly enhanced our overall experience! However, there was one minor issue: possibly because of the planter on our balcony, we encountered small ants in the room and on the bed. Both Sasa and the housekeeping department actively worked to address it, but for someone with allergies, it was quite a nuisance for a few days. I truly hope this can be significantly improved by our next stay. Furthermore, dining at the hotel restaurant over the past few days presented some challenges. Except for one occasion during a busy period when we were promptly shown to a clean table, it was incredibly difficult to find a clean table during off-peak hours. Many tables were empty but left uncleared. I approached a foreign staff member, but their attitude in resolving the issue was quite unhelpful. They coldly insisted they didn't understand throughout our interaction. Even if there was a language barrier, they should have sought assistance. Instead, I had to switch to English before they would even try to help. What if an elderly guest who didn't speak English faced such a situation? Would they simply be met with such indifference? Overall, though, it was still a very pleasant stay.

We often have holidays in Sanya and stay in this hotel. It is perfect for families with kids (I have 2 kids - 9 and 2 yo). The facilities are amazing - several swimming pools with slides and water games, river pool, even water jumping place. A lot of activities for kids and big playground. Night show is great! Breakfast has variety of choices for all ages, so you will never leave it hungry. I especially recommend 2 bedroom room for big families with kids and grandparents. It’s very convenient as you get 2 bathrooms and also one common area with kitchen. Whatever happens in the room, you can always call the desk and get it fixed immediately. It’s amazing place for family vacations! The hotel offers everything for kids, including potty, milk warmer, crib, etc. Special thanks to William who helped us during our stay and communicated with us in English which really made our life easier!

We stayed there for 5 nights and I have to say, while it was nice to relax, we were starting to become bored. There is no animation, no music by the pool, you can only order Drinks by the pool via wechat which didn‘t work for me - it kept telling to write my phone number, which I did and I still couldn‘t order. Sometimes there were workers at the pool who would bring drinks, but not everyday. Same at the beach, which is public so be prepared for people trying to Sell you stuff (mostly drinks or fruits). There is a food court nearby with some restaurants and that‘s it. There is only one restaurant with buffet for the whole hotel. For dinner, the buffet is transfered on the beach and costed 200 yuan on top which i think is a lot ( i think it was close to 400 yuan per person per dinner). The food was good and while everything looked nice, I have to say that the choice of music while the singers were preparing was horrible. Extremly loud and in no way fitting for a nice dinner at the beach. The beach bar for drinks after dinner was poorly organized, we sat down and were completely ignored while the staff was chatting and sitting on their phones behind the bar. Only when my fiance went up to them, they served us (warm beer btw) and didn‘t even clean the table with food from the people sitting before us. And here as well, horrible music which repeats every night. The rooms were pretty, but had their best years behind them. The staff couldn‘t speak english at all (maybe russian because I think every foreigner was russian except us) so communication was a little bit draining with translator. There was one worker, I think her name was Luna (not sure) which was really attentive and nice and when she was there, the service was always good. Since we have stayed in other hilton hotels, I have to say that in comparison this one wasn‘t as amazing as the others for a resort.

Picking a hotel for a Sanya trip is always the trickiest part. This place was later recommended by Doubao. Opened in 2023 and nestled in Yalong Bay, the beach is just meters away, and you can enjoy stunning sea views right from your room. With a reasonable price point, it became my final choice. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel looked far better than its photos on Ctrip. I even mentioned to the hotel manager that they should definitely update their online photos across various platforms to better reflect its true appeal; otherwise, potential guests might mistakenly perceive it as an old-fashioned property. In reality, it's a stylish hotel that beautifully blends Chinese aesthetics with modern lighting, perfectly catering to the tastes of the post-80s and post-90s generations. The facilities are brand new, the environment is immaculate, and the service is exceptional. The family activities and kids' playground were also top-notch, clearly demonstrating the staff's dedication and hard work. We happened to encounter a typhoon during our stay, but we still had a positive experience overall. While there were a few minor hiccups, the hotel promptly offered satisfactory compensation. I would definitely stay here again given the chance.

I just checked out from Sanya Yalong Bay No.5 Villa Resort, and I absolutely had to share my experience! Stepping into the resort felt like wandering into a lush tropical garden 🌿. The villas are enveloped by layers of swaying palm trees and vibrant greenery, and opening the windows reveals serene blue skies and verdant foliage. The privacy is superb, truly feeling like your own exclusive holiday haven. Walking along the resort's paths, surrounded by vibrant flowers, even the air is perfumed with the fresh scent of nature. Every snap captures a picture of serene beauty 🌺. Staying here offers a complete escape from urban noise; waking up each day to birdsong and gentle breezes made the experience truly exceptional! Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat, stunning photo opportunities, or an immersive tropical experience, this is absolutely the right choice. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Sanya ✨. (P.S. A little secret: evening walks in the garden are incredibly romantic, and the sunset glowing over the lush greenery is absolutely divine!)

the hotel corresponds to the classification of 3 stars. the room is large, but the interior is old, worn out, in places painted with an ordinary brush, which does not create coziness. the sink for washing is clogged with waste and the staff does not check it. when the wind blows outside, in the room there is a terrible whistle and howl of the wind. the usual breakfast corresponds to the hotel of 3 stars. the sea is 100 meters away and it is convenient to walk to it, the water is clean.

We visited Sanya for a vacation at the end of August and chose The Ritz-Carlton Sanya, Yalong Bay. Nina, a wonderful staff member, assisted us with a smooth check-in. Our room offered lovely views of the pool and villa area, with the ocean visible in the distance – truly pleasant scenery. The room itself was quite spacious and well-designed, with distinct and practical zones. We had all our dinners at the Run Garden Chinese Restaurant. Their salt and pepper prawns and Hainanese Wenchang chicken were absolutely delicious. The travel photoshoot we had was also fantastic! Although it was a bit sunny during the shoot, the overall experience was very enjoyable, and the photos turned out wonderfully. Nina, our butler, was incredibly attentive and meticulous, always going the extra mile to meet guests' needs. At check-out, she even prepared a thoughtful parting gift for us, which we deeply appreciated. Thank you!
